With latest incursion, that could happen anywhere else along border.
Now seeing Vovchansk turned to complete rubble and moonscape in latest incursion, and the cost of fighting in that rubble ongoing.

Some Russian cursing in this one to be aware.

Apparently a Babushka in Ufa capital of Bashkortostan, Russia,
Her comments about YouTube being down and talking to someone in Kursk.
Said to have had a 'frank' discussion with an FSB officer at start of war that this would go badly

How is that war going for you, Putin?

Moscow has gone quiet. Most of his generals are probably taking a vacation in Siberia.

Nah, they're practicing low altitude skydiving. Without the parachute for the initial jumps.

I shouldn't giggle at war, but this Ukrainian trolling of Russian is a little bit funny.

15 Aug: Kursk Disaster. Ukrainians Block & Destroy Russians Reinforcements.

As Ukrainians had penetrated deep into Russian territory, Russians transferred a large number of reserves to the area to respond to the quickly deteriorating situation. In response, Ukrainians used a genius tactic to delay these Russian reinforcements.

Ukrainians, most of whom can speak Russian without accent, called up Russian civilians in the area, ordering them to evacuate by posing as Russian officials.

This caused large traffic jams on the main roads Russians were using to transfer military equipment over, severely delaying the Russian response time to the quickly developing situation.

You keep operating in a sanctioned country you get to lose money.

Putin seizes $100m from Google to fund Russia’s war machine (msn.com)

Russian authorities have seized more than $100m (£76m) from Google to fund propaganda supporting Vladimir Putin’s war in Ukraine, court documents show.

US filings have revealed that bailiffs took the funds from the tech giant’s Russian bank accounts in 2022, tipping its unit in the country into bankruptcy.

Analysts think it's a strategy to let Ukraine invade so Putin gains more Russian support to attack Ukraine (currently he's not very popular)

Also it's not an invasion, it's a special military operation to free the Kursk people's republic, who have already decided, in a completely fair referendum, to become part of Ukraine.

I won't post video here, as it involves a death of a Russian.

With that warning, you could search Youtube for "Soldier Catches Drone In Air But Accidentally Drops It After"

Right wing conservative American Youtubers literally getting $100,000 per Pro-Russian show from mysterious benefactors out of the blue, who rarely give any contact info.

Here's an example:

“Ukraine is the enemy of this country [the US]. Ukraine is our enemy being funded by the Democrats. I will stress again one of the greatest enemies of our nation. Right now Ukraine is the greatest threat to this nation and to the world. We should rescind all funding and financing, pull out all military support, and we should apologize to Russia”

YouTube removed at least four channels associated with Lauren Chen

RT, a Russian state-run media outlet, lists Chen as a “political and social commentator.”

She was born in Canada and raised in Hong Kong before she “came to the U.S. for university.”

She has appeared on Fox News, Newsmax and The Daily Wire, among other media groups.

Chen also identifies herself as a video host for Blaze Media, a conservative media organization

The Washington Post: YouTube takes down right-wing channels linked to DOJ Russia indictments

YouTube took down several right-wing politics channels that had been linked with allegations from the Justice Department that Russian government employees were paying right-wing influencers in the United States to produce content.

The Google-owned video site “terminated” Tenet Media and four other channels run by right-wing media entrepreneur Lauren Chen as part of the company’s “ongoing efforts to combat coordinated influence operations,” a YouTube spokesperson said in an emailed statement Thursday.

On Wednesday, the Justice Department indicted two employees of the Russian government-backed media organization RT, formerly known as Russia Today, accusing them of illegally funding a Tennessee-based media organization. The government has not specifically mentioned Tenet, but a quote from the media organization’s YouTube channel listed in the indictment suggest it is the media organization targeted. Some right-wing influencers have subsequently identified Tenet as the company in the indictment.
