I'm surprised no one has mentioned this section specifically, since "golden showers" has been trending #2 on Twitter.

From the Buzzfeed report (which was already mentioned, is unverified)

https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/3259984-Trump-Intelligence-Allegations.html

According to Source D, where s/he had been present, Trump's perverted conduct in Moscow included hiring the presidential suite of the Ritz Carlton Hotel, where he knew President Obama, whom he hated, had stayed on one other official trips to Russia, and defiling the bed where they had slept by employing a number of prostitutes to perform a 'golden showers' (urination) show in front of him. The hotel was known to be under FSE control with microphones and concealed cameras in all the main rooms to record anything they wanted to.

I hate this kind of yellow journalism. :)

You make a good point but in my view America has been increasingly failing to walk the talk. There seems to be a willingness to compromise its so-called principles whenever it is expedient to do so. I agree that there is no better defender of 'Western values' on the horizon at the moment. I am not at all anti-American. I just wish they would do a better job of living up to their promise.

I have to ask this but what the heck are "western values" ?

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

Now Trump wants the commander of the Washing DC National Guard to resign immediately after the President is sworn in - in the middle of the ceremony. This is the guy who is coordinating security for the ceremony.

Also removing all political ambassadors immediately instead of waiting, in some cases, for end of school year for those with families, as traditionally done by past Presidents.

This guy is not making friends...

The paranoid in me would say Trump is preparing to govern like Putin. By force, not by law. But let's not get ahead of facts...

But it *is* in line with what he said he was intending to do as President. Any diplomats who weren't preparing themselves for this the moment he was elected, probably aren't smart enough to be in their positions anyways.

He isn't going to worry about "friends" right now. The GOP controls the house, the Senate and the Whitehouse, he doesn't need anything from the DNC.

It's not like the USA is a broken, failed country that needs immediate reforms to kickstart. What he's doing is radical in a way that's only seen in places with no hope of things working.

Even Obama kept some secretaries from the previous administration.

I'd agree to resign as requested. After closing the DC airspace to *everyone*. Having given the entire DC National Guard the day off. After they've shut down the subway, and left their tanks and armoured cars parked on all the major intersections. And arrange for the *entire* Washington DC Police force to form an honour guard in Chicago.

Remember he has told all ambassadors to leave their posts before inauguration. This is quite unusual not to have some carryover until new ones have been appointed.

This is an interesting article on How Kompromat Works. Basically the FSB goes around collecting material from anyone, everyone even if not relevant at the time. Later on if the situation requires some "accommodation" then the material is released.

Not unlike blackmail but it doesn't necessarily starts with a plan. It's more of an insurance policy.

I should imagine Facebook et al will provide them with a goldmine of handy photos and posts that Mr X did when he was a dumb 18 year old and now he wants to be President/Prime Minister/Director etc at age 50 we can just whip them out and dissuade him by mentioning that questionable College date "consent" issue... or whatever.

They learned that from J. Edgar Hoover.

I'd assumed that Steel's "showergate" report was a load of bollocks.

(Not that any right-thinking individual who'd witnessed Trump in action really needed anything more to form the correct opinion about his moral depravity).

Now I'm not so sure:

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2017/jan/13/uk-british-former-moscow-ambassador-andrew-wood-trump-dossier

Of course the Russians would deny.  Of course Trump would deny.
