Mr. Trump’s team has missed two key deadlines to sign agreements with the administration that are set by federal law and has also failed to sign an ethics plan that is required to jump-start the process of planning for a new administration. ...

His refusal to sign the documents allows him to circumvent fund-raising rules that put limits on private contributions to the transition effort, as well as ethics rules meant to avoid possible conflicts of interest for the incoming administration.

Just do some googling on Trumps actions over help for Puerto Rico when they experienced hurricane devastation during his presidency.

TLDR: He actively denied them support because Puerto Rico was Blue not Red.

Read the comments at the bottom too. Nearly all are Red voters not one supports Trump. They are are voting for their country. This is something I'm not surprised is happening.

I get the sense that Trump is really circling the drain, faster each day. The result may end up being close due to the way their electoral college system works but I still see Trump losing by a bigger margin than last time.

It just remains to be seen what Trump tries to do during his political death throes.

As a presidential candidate in 2015, Donald J. Trump declined to release his medical records, instead offering a four-paragraph letter from his personal doctor proclaiming that he would be “the healthiest person ever elected to the presidency.”

In 2020, when he was hospitalized with Covid and running for re-election, Mr. Trump’s doctors gave minimal information about his condition, which, it emerged later, was far more dire than their public descriptions let on.

In 2024, days before becoming the official Republican presidential nominee for the third time, he was grazed by a would-be assassin’s bullet, yet his campaign did not hold a briefing on his condition, release hospital records or make the emergency physicians who treated him available for interview.

Jack Smith isn't mucking around with Trump's election fraud case, with three possible ways it could work. One is:

Smith argues...a Supreme Court case called Dennis v. Sparks held that “the burden is on the official claiming immunity to demonstrate his entitlement.” So it’s up to Trump—not Smith—to ultimately show that his actions were immune versus the other way around. This matters because the majority’s opinion in Trump seemed to create mountain after mountain for the prosecution to climb while tossing Trump a magic carpet. Next time this case comes before SCOTUS—and you can be sure that it will, unless Trump wins in November—the Court will have to grapple with Sparks.
