Yes, there's a resemblance, because the left photo is actually of Donald in his early teens. His father had made him dress in lederhosen from the time he was quite small, as a nostalgic reminder of the family's German roots. Little Donny was just beginning to experiment with makeup at that time, but hadn't yet got the face tan color right. The green hair resulted when neighborhood bullies dunked him headfirst into a cesspit. Poor kid was never the same after that.

"Project 2025 is a comprehensive transition plan organized by ultra conservative think tank The Heritage Foundation to guide the next GOP presidential administration. It includes a 900 page set of policy proposals, a vetted list of workers to replace the federal workforce, a secret 180 day plan to facilitate drastic change and an academy to teach loyalist employees how to enact its extremist, Evangelical agenda".

The NY Times - On Politics - Trump still can’t stop talking about women

01 Nov 2024

Speaking with Tucker Carlson last night in Glendale, Ariz., Trump imagined a supremely violent fate for Liz Cheney, the Republican former congresswoman who has become a prominent surrogate for Harris.

She’s a radical war hawk,” Trump said. “Let’s put her with a rifle standing there with nine barrels shooting at her, OK? Let’s see how she feels about it. You know, when the guns are trained on her face.” ...

Anyone who wants to be president of the United States who uses that kind of violent rhetoric is clearly disqualified, and unqualified, to be president,” Harris said today on the tarmac in Madison, Wis.

Trump’s defenders say he was simply making a statement about Cheney’s past support for American involvement in overseas conflicts.

But the episode seemed like yet another gift from Trump and his allies to Democrats - making the final countdown to the election feel like an Advent calendar with a sexist, violent or otherwise politically dubious remark behind each door. ...

Trump might think his goals are to win the election, be respected and live to a ripe old age, but subconsciously he knows that he deserves none of these things, making him his own worst enemy.

THE NY Times - Trump as Trash Man

On Wednesday, former President Donald Trump spoke to reporters from inside a garbage truck while wearing an orange safety vest.

Jimmy Kimmel called Trump “a cosplay garbage man” on Thursday, joking that “the garbage is driving the truck.

That vest will come in handy when he’s on the side of the highway picking up trash with the other inmates.” - JIMMY KIMMEL

Colbert joked that Trump looked like a cross between an orange traffic cone, and a sex doll.

Trump is always making threats like a mob-boss. The exception is around blood thirsty dictators, tyrants and right-wing billionaires, whom he deeply admires.

Regarding his Liz Cheney comment, he becomes particularly venomous when demeaning a woman.

At first I thought the couple were Republicans. Then, that they were perhaps Democrats.
Finally I realized that they could be any Americans.

But this is really scary:

THE AMERICANS PREPPING FOR A SECOND CIVIL WAR
Many now believe that the U.S. could descend into political violence. Some are joining survivalist communities, canning food—and buying guns.

Scariest of all is the thought that the survivors might want to move here, along with their political ideologies.

Yeah, if they want to move here, they should be forced to swear an oath to leave all that is American behind.

Its too late. !   Billionaires club have a foothold already.

Check who bought some of the estates in South Island that Government kindly sold to leaseholders to subdivide.

Given Mr Keys recent statements and overflowing ACT/National coffers to fight the election?

Peter Thiel said that he was attracted especially to New Zealand due to the ethos of the people.
That ethos may not be the egalitarian one many are thinking of.

Just a larger seasteading project that might take longer to change into his ideal society.
ACT are progressing well to drag National along.

Yeah. Because our ethos means we're dumb enough to allow Americans to settle here unchecked, even though around half of them could be MAGAnuts.
