Partly correct. They also must know how to genuflect, sorry too big a word - grovel, lick arse, but most of all appear to be or are dumber than Herr Trump. Of course, laugh and nod in the right places.

Just in from AP News

Federal judge says he will order preservation of Signal texts By MICHAEL KUNZELMAN

U.S. District Judge James Boasberg said during a hearing Thursday that he’ll issue a temporary restraining order barring Trump administration officials from destroying messages sent over the encrypted messaging app Signal.

A nonprofit watchdog, American Oversight, made the request to preserve the texts in which senior national security officials discussed sensitive details of plans for a U.S. military strike against Yemen’s Houthis.

The Atlantic published the entire Signal chat on Wednesday. Its editor-in-chief, Jeffrey Goldberg, was added to the discussion that included Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and other top officials.

And of course they will comply 😜

The Bulwark has a good story on this today too - and how the orange buffoon managed to screw up and make the response to the initial leak even worse:

https://www.thebulwark.com/p/who-you-gonna-believe-hegseth-lying-eyes-signal-classified-information-goldberg-atlantic-attack-yemen-houthis

On Wednesday, Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt scolded the White House press corps for prioritizing the story over news of U.S. business investment or Trump’s latest “election integrity” executive order. JD Vance jeered at Goldberg for declining to publish the name of a CIA officer involved—an action Goldberg took at the request of Trump’s CIA. Donald Trump himself complained that the story was a “witch hunt” and suggested that “I think Signal could be defective, to be honest with you.” (All the more reason not to share attack plans on it, then!)

An article in The New Republic (found via Reddit, so don't know what the credibility of the source is) states that Canada's new PM has "announced the two countries' relationship is over".

https://newrepublic.com/post/193287/donald-trump-canada-prime-minister-break

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney officially broke things off with the United States Thursday, marking a seismic shift in relations between the longtime allies.

“The old relationship we had with the United States based on deepening integration of our economies and tight security and military cooperation is over,” Carney said during a press conference

Well played, Donald. You even made your closest ally and neighbour hate you.

Quick Google, and the report seems to be accurate.

The New Republic is a pretty reliable publication so most likely it's accurate.

Trump would be the envy as Pope Theophilus, once a Patriarch of Alexandria.

He was spiritual leader of the Christians in Alexandria, and obsessed with destroying paganism, and enforcing Christianity as the official religion of the Roman empire.

In 391 AD as a Bishop, Theophilus discovered a hidden pagan temple. He and his followers sacked it and displayed its contents in public. A series of attacks between Christians and Pagans developed.

The Bishop asked the Roman Emperor to burn a temple housing part of The Great Library of Alexandria, one of the most renowned centers of knowledge.

The Bishop later became a Pope.

The world's most competent press secretary (okay, she probably didn't say this, but it's still amusing):

and Elise Stefanik who was all set to become the orange buffoon's UN Ambassador has her nomination pulled: https://www.axios.com/2025/03/28/elise-stefanik-mike-johnson-trump-un-ambassador

...probably for this very reason:

Now he has to start the nomination process all over again...and she's basically out in the cold:

Stefanik's congressional staff has mostly resigned. She surrendered her slot on the House Intelligence Committee and had one foot out of Washington. Her Instagram was a showcase of that extended goodbye.

That's gotta suck (for her).

Wisconsin Supreme Court race set to hit $100M mark

Now you don't even have to bribe your judges once they're installed (Alito), you can just buy whoever you want in advance.

The US is really government-by-counterexample, just look at whatever they're doing and make sure you do the opposite.

These guys are even more stupid than I thought. America is embarrassing itself to the bone with these intellectual midgets in power. 🤣
