A fake advertisement on a bus stop in London last month.

The NY Times -  ‘0 to 1939 in 3 seconds’: Why Anti-Elon Musk Satire Is Flourishing in Britain  (free link)

06 April 2025

Humor and art have been used to mock the powerful in Britain for centuries. Now Elon Musk is on the receiving end.

The mischievous posters began appearing all over London in the past two months.

On the side of an East London bus stop, one of them shows Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, emerging from a Tesla’s roof with his hand pointing upward in a straight-armed salute. “Goes from 0 to 1939 in 3 seconds,” the ad reads. “Tesla. The Swasticar.

Another mock ad shows Mr. Musk and President Trump in front of a red Tesla with the words: “Now With White Power Steering.”

In North London, a fake movie billboard blares: “The Fast and the Führer,” with a picture of Mr. Musk saluting beside a Tesla with a DOGE license plate, a reference to the budget-slashing federal agency he currently leads on behalf of Mr. Trump. ...

There are mock car air fresheners called “Musk-B-Gone” that promise to cover “the stench of fascism.”

EDIT

and ...

A protester in a dinosaur costume waves to traffic outside a UK Tesla dealership.

Mathematician Matt Parker is a well-known comedian who uses math humorously.

Though in this video he looked like he was trying to fact-check a toddler without hurting its feelings -- or starting a war.

Sideface: Trump says ‘sometimes you have to take medicine&rsquo

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Trump's appointed Health and Human Services Secretary, in a resurfaced clip from a Russian TV show, he stated:

"It's sad to say this, but you cannot trust medical advice from medical professionals."

There seems to be an opportunity if Christopher Luxon is the business guru.
While USA is giving many nations a blood nose, and tariffs getting a bad rep.

To reach out of tough markets like Japan with more potential that we should get together.
We can send our meat and produce to you rather than USA that does not want it cos we export too much.

Japan for example made special case to take more Taiwan products when China started playing games with Taiwan exports to China.

It would seem to be a great time for a 'full court press' of trade missions to markets bloodied by Trump and finding USA unreliable that we get together and trade more amongst ourselves. The words Trump used about allies cheating, deceiving and worse were disgusting.

During a 2018 visit to France, President Trump reportedly canceled a trip to the American Cemetery, stating, "Why should I go to that cemetery? It's filled with losers."

On the same trip, he referred to the Americans Marines who died at the battle as "suckers" for getting killed.

In 2015, Trump said of McCain, "He's not a war hero. I like people who weren't captured."

Following McCain's death in 2018, Trump reportedly said, "We're not going to support that loser's funeral," and expressed anger over flags being lowered to half-staff, asking, "What the f--- are we doing that for? Guy was a f---ing loser."

After a missile attack on an air base in Iraq resulted in U.S. soldiers sustaining concussions, Trump referred to their injuries as "not very serious," stating, "I heard that they had headaches and a couple of other things."

Trump reportedly referred to President Bush as a "loser" for being shot down as a Navy pilot during World War II.

While visiting a grave at the Arlington National Cemetery, Trump reportedly said, "I don't get it. What was in it for them?"

Trump skips honoring soldiers killed in Lithuania to watch golf: Rolling Stones

Lithuanian President President Gitanas Nausėda, government dignitaries, religious leaders, military personnel, and thousands of spectators gathered on Thursday to send the remains of four American soldiers killed during a training exercise back to the U.S. for burial. They are arriving at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware on Friday.

The commander in chief couldn’t be bothered to make the trip. He had a gold tournament to attend.

Instead of receiving the remains of the soldiers under his command, President Donald Trump will be attending a Saudi-backed LIV golf tournament at his Doral resort and golf course in Florida.

from world’s most prominent economics journal "The Economist"l, its economics editor Henry Curr

TikTok video
...
"Trump sees tariffs as a way to boost the economy to raise revenue with foreigners, footing the bill for tax cuts as a way to close America's trade deficit, which he sees as a drag on its manufacturers.

These arguments don't make economic sense.
...
Even if the dollar doesn't rise much, higher import prices make American consumers poorer.

Protectionists say this is worth it to create manufacturing jobs.

But America's tariffs have done little to create these jobs.

In fact, the share of Americans employed in manufacturing is lower today than when President Trumps first tariffs came into effect.

Tariffs on steel and aluminium benefited some producers, but raised input costs for other manufacturers.

And Trumps talk of tariffs funding big chunks of Americas government spending is little more than a pipe dream.
...
Tariffs have stymiede innovation, protected inefficient firms from competition, increased living costs and reduced economic growth.

So instead of leading America to a golden age with tariffs, President Trump might be leading the country down a dead end."

So, with Netanyahu heading to the US, will he be arrested to be sent to the Hague for war crimes, or is he going to be protected by Trump, as Trump only believes in the law of Trump?

i.e. Trump trumps the International Court of Justice.
