The media should halt all coverage of Trump and associated presidential events until he leaves office - starve him of oxygen in that regard.

 

The majority of what news crews with their cameras and microphones gather from Trump's performances, is later found to be wrong or just plain untrue. Ditto with reporting many of his posts on Truth Social. Just look a the recent reflecting pool crap that came from him.

 

He complains about fake news media, because they are reporting facts that he doesn't want people to know, rather than report the nonsense he spouts.

 

The fact is, when the media reports what he says, the information reporting is accurate (what he says) but the content is fake, so in that way if the media report what he says they are actually reporting fake news that is originating from him.

 

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

This sounds like his previous nonsense promises of discounting things by amounts like 600 percent.

 

Smells like propaganda to me.

 

Let me think. What happens to the media after a coup or when a dictator takes over. They take over or seek to control the media's output to suit their own messaging (aka propaganda) to the masses.

 

Entities aligned with and sympathetic to Trump are getting close to closing the deal on the Paramount takeover of Warner Bros, which includes CNN. CNN does not meet Trump's requirement for accurate reporting.

 

Assuming the deal closes, one wonders what will become of CNN, be shutdown or with new staff become an outlet for Trump propaganda in time for the 2028 presidential election when Don Jnr might succeed Don Snr.

Yep just like the new West Wing ball room extension and what's going under it. Again under the cloak of "national security" the cost has ballooned from $400m to $900m and could go as high as 1Billion.

 

 

The cost of Defence electronics and hardware usually balloons, often due to specification drift, and a lot of it being one-off bespoke and very complicated stuff rather than off the shelf stuff obtainable at the local computer or hardware store. If the final cost is ever reported I would expect it to be extremely eye-watering. If it's truly National Security related the final cost will likely be classified.

 

So long as he gets his gaudy gold ballroom with a big sign with his name on it, I doubt Trump will give a fig what's under it. Ditto with the arch.

 




Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

He doesn't care, He is of the belief that his "TRUTH SOCIAL" network is all he needs and pretty much all the media are just poisonous vipers anyway...

 

But they media will be back, There is well established case law from 1977 onward that the Whitehouse cannot arbitrarily ban media it doesn't like,  and Its likely they will back down before it goes to a full trial as the discovery on it would likely be highly embarrassing..

Indeed, his first taste of life without the major television networks that are now boycotting the White House press pool in protest of his ban on select news outlets was a sour one.

 

He was left almost literally shouting into the wind on Monday as he cut the ribbon on his new helipad on the South Lawn of the White House, recorded only by a second-tier news broadcaster that could not capture his voice over the roar of Marine One.

 

There was Mr. Trump moving his mouth, and no one could hear him.

Delegates began to walk out as Trump threatened other countries in his speech at the United Nations.

 

President Trump’s confrontational, campaign-style speech at the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday was met with silence and rejection, and both the Cuban and Iranian delegations walked out while he attacked them.

 

The beginning of Trump’s speech was met with several awkward silences, as he clearly waited for applause after declaring that “America is back and … stronger today than ever before.” He received none.

 

Later in his speech, the majority of the Iranian delegation chose to walk out after Trump asked the audience if he should “annihilate the Islamic Republic and do it quickly” or “drive them into hell with no chance of survival.”

 

After that, the Cuban delegation did the same - reacting to Trump’s claim that Cuba is an “absolutely failed state.” ...

 

Trump chose to use the U.N. bully pulpit to present his version of reality - one that Cuba and Iran’s leadership chose to walk away from rather than entertain. 

 



 

Earlier today, the Washington Post published a photograph of Trump addressing numerous empty seats at the General Assembly. Two hours later, this image had disappeared without trace.  😶

 

Big Brother is watching.

Correct me if I'm wrong, I thought the US had free access for the last 5 decades? 10,000 military personnel IIRC now there is 200 which is a US choice. Now they sign an agreement that they already had??

See Trump try it himself, with the three reporters' questions and his stable, genius responses.

Here's my transcript, taken from the video, which failed to appear in any official Presidential sources. Funny that.

Why isn't the White House briefing room and so bland and small?

To match Trump's aesthetic senses, the podium should have a golden bare breasted Lady Liberty caryatid holding up a golden lectern

The room in gold leaf, with naked 3 meter golden female statues holding up the architrave, with rain lamps on the either sides, purple shag rug?

and 2 ton chandelier above the press, with a Sword of Damocles, wired to a large red button on the podium labelled "say that again."

On the the frieze, middle decorative that runs immediately above the architrave, may I suggest a tasteful naked bronze metope, a 3D sculpted panel.

It could be a naked Trump, pinning a struggling bald eagle, in a MMA move called the "triangle choke". Trump legs wrapped around the eagle (who is in front), their neck trapped, and the Trump's legs forming a triangle around the wings.

He could use Trump’s own casinos as a reference (before demolition).

Granted the White House is a protected historic structure, and major alterations must comply with preservation rules, security constraints, and federal oversight. But hey: tell what to the east wing.
