As for the email server.....it's a bogus issue. Compared to what Bush and Cheney were up to playing fast and loose with classified document - and got away with - Clinton looks like saint.

Yeah, but that's the point... they *did* get away with it. I guess the Democrats' mud-slinging department isn't up to scratch. And/or the Republican teflon-coating is effective.

It's as much about the Party sales & marketing as it is about the candidate and what they do.

It's most about getting people to turn out and vote for you it appears, more than any policy selling mud slinging and name calling.

What's bogus about it is that if she wasn't rich, she'd be in jail for it.

By the standards of over 99% of the population, he's rich. Even by the most pessimistic estimates.

Even if you're bankrupt, you're rich if you live in a penthouse and fly round in a Learjet.

Stephen Hawking: Donald Trump Appeals to 'Lowest Common Denominator'

LONDON — Theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking said Tuesday that the popularity of Donald Trump is beyond even his understanding.

The author of "A Brief History of Time" was asked in an interview whether his knowledge of the universe meant he could explain the presumptive Republican nominee's appeal.

"I can't," Hawking replied. "He is a demagogue who seems to appeal to the lowest common denominator."

Donald Drumpf is the ultimate tail-risk candidate.

"Donald Trump, on the other hand, is a wild card.
Who the hell knows what he would do if elected?

Donald Trump has 'fascinating parallels' with Caligula, says historian

"He has not yet made a horse his running mate, but Donald Trump can be compared to one of the most notorious of all Roman emperors, Caligula, according to best-selling historian Tom Holland.

"Holland told the Hay festival there were fascinating parallels between the actions and success of Trump and what was going on in Rome 2,000 years ago.

"Caligula has gone down in history as one of the maddest and baddest of all Roman emperors, a name synonymous with the worst excesses of absolute power."

And Hillary gets the nomination over Bernie. I have no great love for the woman, but she's the lesser of two evils when it comes to her and Trumpy.

Isn't it some kind of commentary on the state of affairs in America when people are reduced to voting for the lesser of evils who is a person no-one seems to like much?
