Sideface, that's really funny. smile  Mind you, I am in a good mood because the motherboard I have been waiting nearly three months for, has finally arrived.

[EDIT]  Actually I take that back, as my iPhone 5S died today.  I don't know how many times it has crashed and burned after an update, and despite countless attempts, it keeps failing to restore with a 1407 error.  I am honestly wondering if they do it on purpose to make us by a new phone.

A Trump Trap With Nonsense Around It

Asked about testifying in the Russia probe, Trump gave an incoherent and potentially damaging answer.

extracts:

President Donald Trump was asked Wednesday whether he would be willing to meet with Special Counsel Robert Mueller and under what, if any, conditions. His answer was vintage Trump: It was mendacious, incoherent, mentioned Hillary Clinton multiple times – and perhaps most crucially, set up future problems for himself.

"Well again John, there has been no collusion between the Trump campaign and Russians or Trump and Russians – no collusion. When I watch you interviewing all the people leaving their committees, I mean the Democrats are all running for office and they're trying to say this-that – but bottom line they all say there's no collusion. And there is no collusion."

This was reminiscent of the interview Trump granted to The New York Times at the end of last year in which he repeated the "no collusion" mantra a remarkable 23 times.

Trump wasn't just satisfied to discuss collusion, though. He went on:

"And when you talk about interviews, Hillary Clinton had an interview where she wasn't sworn in, she wasn't given the oath, they didn't take notes, they didn't record and it was done on the Fourth of July weekend. That's, perhaps, ridiculous and a lot of people looked upon that as being a very serious breach and it really was."

Here's the trap Trump has laid for himself: He's basically saying that someone being interviewed in a federal investigation should be sworn in, notes should be taken and it should be recorded. Not doing those things is, in his words, "a very serious breach."

Bannon is apparently refusing to answer questions.  Can he do that?  Does the Fifth Amendment still hold in front of whatever it is Mueller is fronting?

A Democrat on the committee believes he was under a White House "gag order".

Yeah, right.

"Steve Bannon and his attorney asserted a remarkably broad definition of executive privilege," Jim Himes, a Democratic member of the committee, told CNN.

The magazine "US News" is moderately conservative, something you'd find in a dental office.

Trump repeating "collusion" 20 times is just stupid.

He can't refuse to answer questions in the (Mueller) Grand Jury investigation - there's a specific exclusion written in to the Fifth Amendment.  He'd be charged with contempt.

He has refused to testify to the House Intelligence Committee.  That's mentioned in the article as a gag order using "executive privilege" by the POTUS wanting to keep information from the public.

They didn't claim "Executive privilege" with these words because it could be argued that only applies when talking to the President or inside the White House - the investigation includes things done during the campaign, before the election so it would drag the thing to the Supreme Court and that would be even messier...

I note that Trump weighs 108kg. That's one helluva lot of bulls*it. Takes a cow almost two days to produce that much excrement.

And methane emissions? Scientists have discovered that cows produce most of this flammable gas from their burps, not their bums.

Trump easily beats that. It'd take a herd of heifers a week to damage the air as much as one of his campaign rallies.

What we learned from 365 days of Trump polls

Washington (CNN) One year after Donald Trump's inauguration, public opinion polling has offered little positive news for the President so far.

Trump'd beat that easily. One campaign rally'd do it.

He also claims he's 6'3" tall - the same height as Jeb Bush:

Edit to say that his lies about being overweight rather than obese don't bother me - they're insignificant compared to his thousands of lies since being sworn in.

The idea of his weight/height not actually being what was disclosed concerns me greatly, for one very important reason: If we can't believe the height and/or weight reported in the physical, then how can we believe the reported perfect score on the cognitive test?

Here's the "Cognitive Test" Trump passed.

The bar is clearly set so very high - only a stable genius could ace that.
