What we learned from 365 days of Trump polls

Washington (CNN) One year after Donald Trump's inauguration, public opinion polling has offered little positive news for the President so far.

Bit of a dangerous graph to publish right there. The obvious conclusion is that Trump just needs to declare war against one of those s***hole countries he hates and his approval will jump right up to 90% like Dubya.

All I could get was that the camel's called Daisy.

The rest of it was pretty hard.

Here's the "Cognitive Test" Trump passed.

The bar is clearly set so very high - only a stable genius could ace that.

Is it a standard test of some sort though?  Doctors tend to use standards tests.  It's not testing for intelligence or sanity - just cognitive impairment.

I suspect a lot of Trump's opponents would criticise the criticise the sphygmomanometer if it measured his blood pressure as normal.

I don't support Trump. Although I am rather enjoying the three ringed circus.

Also even Nixon had 60% at that point.

I got that if you aced the test and were 12 years old (or younger), then with the bonus point, you could score 31/30.

103.33%. Now that's genius.  Trump should lie about his age.

Yes - I believe it's a fairly standard test.

Pays to note that senile "dementia" isn't called senile "cognitive decline".

Becoming demented is part of the deal and often the first real indication that something isn't right.

Something isn't right in Trump's head - that's obvious.  Determining whether that obsessive, narcissistic, vindictive streak in his psyche is something new - or whether he's always been an arsehole - is the problem.

CNN - Bannon will do interview with special counsel, avoiding grand jury for now

Breaking news:

Steve Bannon will not appear before a grand jury - at least for now, CNN reports, citing two sources familiar with the matter.
Bannon will speak with special counsel Robert Mueller's investigative team voluntarily.
The new interview setting is less formal than a compelled testimony before a grand jury would be.

Steve Bannon has reportedly negotiated himself out of an appearance before a federal grand jury.
Bannon's attorneys negotiated the deal, CNN reported.
The network said Bannon is expected to talk openly to Mueller's team.

I just tried the full test (seriously) and all I can say is, if Trump genuinely passed it, the White House must've got the doc to examine the Disney robot.

Donald Trump’s terrifying plan to win the 2018 midterms

Is Donald Trump hoping foreign terrorists attack the United States?

That terrifying question is subtly embedded in a story this weekend reported in the Washington Post on the Republican Party’s growing alarm about the upcoming 2018 midterms.

If Trump thinks a terrorist attack would serve his political interests - either through a blind rally-’round-the-flag effect or by specifically validating anti-immigrant demagoguery or what have you - how hard is he really working to keep the country safe?
