The most common comment on X last night was “It’s not gay if it’s a three way.”

The hypocrisy with this family is amazing. Tom Edward’s the gay member of the Sarasota school board said he didn’t care if Bridget was involved in a lesbian relationship but was against her banning of book in schools. Bravo Sir, bravo.

A confused judge rules on a group of four (???) in the "sovereign citizen movement"

Apparently Florida law enforcment is very familiar with dealing with the sovereign citizen movement" in the same way a chronic Hemorrhoids patient is familiar with itching.

BBC News - George Santos: Expelled congressman is now selling $200 videos on Cameo

today

George Santos, the Republican congressman expelled last week by the US House of Representatives, is now selling videos on the Cameo website.

Mr Santos, who labels himself a "former congressional Icon" on the platform, is selling personalised messages recorded by him for $200 each.

On Mr Santos's Cameo profile he describes himself as "the Expelled member of Congress from New York City".

Cameo is a service that allows fans to buy personal video messages from their favourite celebrities.

Pathetic. 🙄

As someone who is NOT a police officer, I am glad I don't have to deal with sovereign citizens.

If I were a grocery cashier, I wouldn't want to deal with a sovereign citizen.

His departure means California Governor Gavin Newsom will have to soon call a special election for electing a replacement.

Regarding the shrinking Republican majority, to quote Trump: "We are going to win so much, you may even get tired of winning"

Governor Newsom is a Democrat. He has the power to fill a US Senate seat, but he has to call a special election to fill a Congressional seat. (see above)

Literally like he thought he was the new Moses.

He literally means been woken from sleep over a series of days,
and having direct conversations with God.

This is the mental state of someone in one of the highest offices of one of the most powerful nations in the world.

There was a a treasonous ancient Egyptian priest, Osarseph, who renamed himself Moses and led a successful coup against the presiding pharaoh. After ruling Egypt for years, the pharaoh regained power and expelled him. Maybe that's the Moses he's thinking of :)

Or maybe he think he has the political views of someone living around 3,000 years ago. That would make sense.

Or maybe he'd like 40 years of wandering aimlessly.

Or maybe he'd like to outlive his rivals. Moses died at 120 years old when the average lifespan was somewhere between 25 to 38.

Or maybe he sees himself dying of murder, suicide or in battle. That's what about 1/4 of men did at the time of Moses.

Or perhaps he's just into wearing robes and a veil in public. Paul's Second Letter to the Corinthians goes on for quite a length that Moses wore a veil to cover the afterglow of God radiating from his face.
