Previously Trump has said on many occasions "if more people were armed the shooter would be dead before he killed anyone". He probably is thinking he should arm students.

I would hate to see that put to the test but I can easily imagine dozens of panicky kids banging away at each other and at the echos in the hall. The shooter wouldn't even have to do anything. Just start the chain reaction and then walk away while the victims do each other in. Great idea, Trump.

With the Congress members overly influenced by the NRA, & with 300 million guns in circulation, I predict that Trump and Congress will spend mega dollars on fortifying schools.    This would mean that once through the front door the kids would feel relatively safe.

A gun show went on as scheduled this weekend, a short drive from the school where a teenager used his own legally purchased AR-15 assault weapon to kill 17 people and wound more than a dozen others.
Many assault weapons were on display as customers, some bringing their children, checked out the killing firepower.

 

Jorge Fernandez spoke for Florida Gun Shows in sharing what he called their "deepest condolences to the persons who have been involved in this terrible tragedy."
