I couldnt get through more than 10 mins in that interview, ugggh. The american people voting for Trump should be made aware what elon pays in taxes and that it will only be worse taxing of the mega wealthy under Trump. I liked Harris' response to it all, the bit about them not being able to get a livestream working in 2024 lol.

I saw a couple of headlines, not sure if from interview. Trump threatens to Flee to Veneuzala if he loses (perfect place for him right now), is that not threatening to break Probation?

He is saying he will be using his son Baron best friend, an influencer, to combat young votes (who is this influencer and how much influence do they have?)

Harris has now closed her unfavorability to just +4.1 now. That is incredible from where she started. Trump is still at +8.2. He started at about 12. Neither him nor Biden were Favorable.

He must be talking about this guy: Adin Ross interviews Trump, gifts him a Cybertruck and a Rolex (nbcnews.com)

This shows the double standards in the MAGA cult. Until recently, Trump was against EVs because of drill, drill, drill. But now Elon is his best buddy, so EVs are fashionable.

There really is no logic in their thinking.

Oh cringe. Yeh Ive noticed his rhetoric slowly change from all petrol to petrol and hybrids to now petrol, hybrids and a little bit of EVs (whatever people want etc). Baron looks a right spoiled one, I wonder how this guy is his friend, or if its just an online friend etc.

To be honest I cant blame him for the drill baby drill. But what Trump should be doing is using his words, explaining the oil fields and that he wants the US to be making money from it, or if he wasnt selfish he would be aiming to cut US petrol prices ie 50% to make life easier for everyone etc. (if I were Harris id be countering with this and being a little less lefty, explaining for the interim until Hybrids and EVs have caught up to user needs.

Or if he was cunning like Biden he would sell high buy low. Either way I dont think the other producers are keen on the US messing with barrel prices.

CBS News: UAW files labor charges against Trump and Musk after X interview, claiming worker intimidation

[In the USA,] the United Auto Workers on Tuesday filed federal labor charges against former President Donald Trump and Tesla CEO Elon Musk, accusing the duo of trying to "intimate and threaten" workers during an interview on the latter's social media platform X.
...
During the interview, the pair advocated for the firing of striking workers, the UAW claimed in a statement. Under the National Labor Relations Act, it's illegal to fire striking workers as well to threaten to terminate workers who go on strike.

"I mean, I look at what you do," Trump told Musk on Monday night. "You walk in, you say, 'You want to quit?' They go on strike. I won't mention the name of the company, but they go on strike, and you say, 'That's okay. You're all gone. You're all gone. So every one of you is gone.'"

Trump made the remarks in response to Musk pitching himself as playing a potential role in a future "government efficiency commission," with the Republican nominee calling Musk "the greatest cutter."
...
The UAW's complaint targets Musk as a representative of Tesla, the electric car company where Musk serves as CEO and is its biggest individual shareholder.
...
The UAW, which been trying to organize Tesla employees, has also recently endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris' run for the White House, while members of the union met with the Democratic presidential nominee in Michigan last week.
...
In a statement, UAW President Shawn Fain decried the comments, saying "Both Trump and Musk want working class people to sit down and shut up, and they laugh about it openly." He added, "It's disgusting, illegal and totally predictable from these two clowns."

The AFL-CIO, a federation of 60 national and international labor unions, offered its own take on the exchange on X, posting: "Scab recognize scab."

Trump's interview with Musk had technical issues

Musk later said it was due to a DDOS attack saturating his data lines

However twitter staffer concluded later that there was a 99% chance Musk was lying

The Elon Musk / Donald Trump interview on X started with an immediate tech disaster.

Harris HAS to lean into Trumps age, psychology and some experts note the slurring words, making words up etc as signs of potential dementia.

The Union thing has given her direct proof as to both what they want to do to the middle class and Proj 2025 alignment.

I want to know for sure if Musk being a South african immigrant who is so anti immigration. But also the irony on his views on immigration caused by Covid given why he left Saf and his immigration to the US caused by fear just like those risking their lives now. You would think if anything he would have compassion.

This is worrying me more day by day, not Proj 2025, but Trump election deniers are systemically planted as Election Certification Officials in key swing state state counties etc.

They keep saying it is illegal, but in some states like Georgia not so, it would have to have the Officials go to court and prove why they are not certifying which could take too long.

What Trump hopes he can then say he got more seats in congress so he wins, then goes to SCOTUS in which we know the outcome would be Trump wins.

This needs Biden to step in and remove these people, just prior to the election, and replacing with non maga Election Certification officials.

I'm sorry but this is straight out of the Trump playbook. You don't protect democracy by abandoning the rules. Regardless of the apparent sympathies of election officials, if they have acquired their positions legitimately then they can't be punished for something they haven't done yet. That is not how the law works. You idea is dumb, wrong and self-defeating!

Im referring to ones still in the position that have done it prior, and yes its very Trump, delay tactic is essentially how he gets it pushed up the Court chain.

But Im hoping they straighten out State laws like in Georgia, so there is no major delay, or Harris landslides making any such acts pointless.

Harris unfavourable dropped again, she will end up in the positive by end of campaign at this rate. Going by latest poll Trump only holds about a +3 lead in Florida/Home state. Arizona for sure was in play and I thought maybe North Carolina, but if Trump loses Florida that will be humiliating.

Good point, but it does have his signature texting all over it....

Either way I thought that Stephen Colbert piece was too funny with Sylvester :-).

Yeah, nobody's tried an audio podcast before (◔_◔)

In the last 10 years, podcasts of this size are so common that no one even centrally tracks the counts anymore.

You might as well be saying that Trump's campaign have set a new record for bathroom cleanliness.
