Of course he did - that's what he was invited there to do.

Even when some good news happens - Trump couldn't stop himself from spoiling the moment by lying about it:

(two of the 3 were detained during Trump's presidency)

TRUMP CONSIDERING PULLING U.S. OUT OF CONSTITUTION

WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—Calling it “maybe the worst deal ever,” Donald J. Trump said on Wednesday that he is considering pulling the United States out of the United States Constitution.

“I’ve seen a lot of bad deals in my life, but this Constitution is a total mess,” he said. “We need to tear it up and start over.”

Trump was scathing in his remarks about the two-hundred-and-twenty-nine-year-old document, singling out for special scorn its insistence on three branches of government. “The branches thing is maybe the worst part of this deal,” he said. “The first thing we do when we pull out of the Constitution is get rid of two of those branches.”

He also called the First Amendment “something that really has to go.”

“No one in his right mind would put something like that in a Constitution,” he said. “Russia doesn’t have it. North Korea doesn’t have it. All the best countries don’t have it.”

He stopped short of accusing his predecessor, Barack Obama, of writing the United States Constitution, but said, “He’s working hard behind the scenes trying to save it, because he knows that the Constitution is very, very bad for me.”

Vowing to replace the Constitution with “a new, much, much better Constitution,” he acknowledged that there might be some elements of the original document worth salvaging. “We’re going to keep the Second Amendment,” he said, “and definitely the Fifth.”

I'm sure everyone politically savvy here, but for those newcomers:

"Taking the fifth" is something gangsters use to keep from testifying in court.

The Fifth Amendment protects individuals from being forced to incriminate themselves. Incriminating oneself is defined as exposing oneself (or another person) to "an accusation or charge of crime," or as involving oneself (or another person) "in a criminal prosecution or the danger thereof."

And the second amendment is the right to arm bears and now for anyone who passes the "ability to fog a mirror while breathing" test.

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

Why would you arm bears?

CNN Politics - Donald Trump just accidentally revealed something very important about his 'fake news' attacks

On Wednesday morning, President Donald Trump sent out a tweet bashing the media. Nothing new there.

But, this tweet was different: Trump unintentionally revealed the false premise on which his relentless calls of "fake news" is based.

Here's the tweet:

The point can be summed up in these two words from Trump: "negative (Fake)."

To Trump, those words mean the same thing. Negative news coverage is fake news. Fake news is negative news coverage.

Trump either doesn't understand or ignores the difference between a story he doesn't like and one that is not true.

He conflates the two for his own political purposes - knowing his base hates the media and is more than ready to believe that journalists are willing to make up stories just to make Trump look bad.

Time and time again, Trump's claims about "fake news" have been debunked.

What he calls fake news isn't fake at all. It's true - he just doesn't like to read about it because it paints him as fallible, and he hates that.

You know though despite all this trumps approval rating is similar to Obama's (only a few points off him in his second term) at 43.2%

CNN - Everything scrapping the Iran deal says about Donald Trump

... And it revealed two other pillars of the Trump presidency - a propensity to turn even the most crucial moments into a global televised drama, and his ravenous desire to eradicate President Barack Obama from the history books.

You are quite right. Does that show Trump is the man? No. It shows a severe discontentment with the populous. That's ok, it happens. But the problem is a US problem, the world will get on with the key issues at hand, which is climate change, Iran, and North Korea, the latter Trump hasn't yet walked away from, but he has hinted.

Easy now, Fred. Don't cast those pearls before the porkers.

PhantomNVD: Korean negotiations?

The ones that haven't happened yet?

When it was obvious that Moon Jae-in was going to meet with KJU - as he'd campaigned on that, Trump had to be in.

Trump might deserve a pat on the back if he doesn't stuff things up immediately when he meets with KJU.

Trump is the only POTUS who's never passed the half-way mark according to Gallup polling:

Even then he hasn't done anything to have promoted the NK/SK meeting, that was purely an NK/SK thing, even China wasn't aware till late and was a bit miffed.

KJU is running this show, as planned.
