CNN: Stormy Daniels' lawyer on Giuliani: None of this makes sense

Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani said that Trump reimbursed his lawyer Cohen's payout to porn star Stormey Daniels beofre the election.

Avenatti says the Trump reveal now makes no sense, because someone should have "gotten ahead of the story" months ago, when it would have made a difference.

I watched the entire video (not the clickbait one linked) and to me it is clear he is talking about MS13 gang members not all immigrants. 


Not that im a fan of dehumanizing anyone but MS13 are fairly up there in terms of violence for world gangs.

I think it is safe to call them out for what they are - animals. That Twitter posting is a great example of how things can get very twisted and distorted.



That's actually one thing I agree with Trump that he gets alot of flack about is his wall.


The drugs and violence out of South America is fairly crazy

Avenatti is a big problem for Trump:

 

 

Another potential problem, the payment to Stormy was made from Cohen's shell company's account, but from the San Francisco branch. (He has the record to prove it).

 

If the state of California decided to prosecute, then Trump cannot pardon Cohen.

Everyone should definitely read this item on deepfakes and especially, watch the video part way down of Obama calling Trump names. It is truly mind-blowing (the technique, not what he says, which is fake).

Three Reasons To Be Skeptical of the Upcoming Trump/Kim Talks

 

     

  1. North Korea's interests haven't changed
  2. Summit meetings between heads of state require a lot of preparation - and this isn't president Trump's strong suit

This is definitely a side-note, but Nixon could be an example.

Because Nixon had an undisputed reputation of being a staunch anti-Communist, he was largely immune to any criticism of being "soft on Communism" by figures on the right of American politics.

But Nixon was happy to scuttle peace deals if it served him

Yes prescription drug abuse is a massive issue in the states too.

 

I am not sure honestly where I stand on the hard drug debate the Portugal drug case is interesting. 

 

But still having a strong wall is a good thing I don't think I have seen a good argument against it.

Depends what you need to be convinced that an argument is "good".

 

It won't work anyway, it's being offered as a solution to a problem which doesn't really exist, it would cost a fortune, and that it's a permanent blight on the landscape, and it's sending an extremely unfriendly signal to your third largest trading partner - especially when accompanied by racist rhetoric and demands that they pay for something that they don't want.

Opiod deaths in USA 40,000 per year and climbing. Approx 40% of those deaths are on prescription = approx 16,000. Who is responsible for this? First, Mexicans. Nobody knows exactly how but that's not important. It is the Mexicans, no doubt. Second, New Zealanders. Sheep are big in New Zealand and counting them makes people sleepy. It's wrong folks, so wrong, really wrong, and the FBI needs to step in and find out how Mexicans and New Zealanders are responsible for all this.

Depends what you need to be convinced that an argument is "good".

An estimated half million illegal entries into the United States each year most from mexico through people smugglers across the border its a problem and in terms of cost for the wall it is not actually that much in the grand scheme of things. I don't see a problem with slowing down that flow the illegal immigration no one has a right to enter any sovereign state it actually makes it worse for those who got there legally.

  • The Senate Judiciary Committee released hundreds of pages of interviews - including from Donald Trump Jr. - that sheds light on a critical meeting between Trump campaign brass and Russians at Trump Tower in June 2016.
  • The Office of Government Ethics makes public Trump's 2017 financial disclosure statement, a document that makes nearly certain that he reimbursed Michael Cohen, his personal lawyer, for the $130,000 hush payment made to porn star Stormy Daniels.
  • The Senate Intelligence Committee announced that it agreed with the Intelligence Community's assessment that Russia sought to interfere in the 2016 election to help Trump and hurt Hillary Clinton
  • Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani told CNN's Dana Bash that he had been told by the special counsel's office that they did not believe they could indict a sitting president
  • Former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson seemed to troll his former boss in a speech at VMI, warning of the dangers of those who veer from facts.

Figures like this are unreliable at best and subject to interpretation. As with all statistics, you can basically find something to prove anything if you want to.

 

What most current authoritative sources seem to agree on, is that illegal immigration from Mexico has already significantly declined and continues to do so. Improved enforcement measures may have something to do with this. So may a perception amongst potential immigrants that America is not as desirable a destination as it may once have been. 

 

The notion that masses of people are wading across the Rio Grande unimpeded is nonsense. It is very difficult these days to cross illegally into America. The wall appeals to uninformed opinion and is being promoted for that reason. It is very much the question whether it would make a significant difference to illegal immigration even if it was built. Proponents conveniently ignore the reality that many of those illegally resident in the USA did not come in illegally at all. They arrived on tourist and student visas and overstayed. The wall won't do much about that.

 

The quality of illegal immigrants is another matter. Very few are drug dealers or rapists. The overwhelming majority are guilty only of being poor and wanting to make a better life for themselves and their families. Just like the ones who built America in the first place. The serious criminals don't use people smugglers. They wear suits and arrive by air.

 

The wall is a costly smoke and mirrors illusion conjured up to excite the fearful and ignorant. It will solve nothing.

You can disagree with my numbers all you want (they are from Pew and the US government) we can go into the "tourist and student visas" illegal immigration if you want from my research that claim is incorrect.

 

It doesn't matter about there motivation for wanting to enter the country they still have 0 rights to do it (thats why its called illegal immigration) and there are good reasons behind stopping them.
