Perhaps someone complained that it didn't fit in with GZ's culture because it was completely inoffensive to everyone.

EDIT: That's weird, the post I was replying to has vanished.

That has happened to me. It is because the mod has deleted it for some transgression.

Strange, there was nothing remotely offensive in it.

Perhaps the poster deleted it themselves.

I didn't know you could delete your own post?

There's a delete button - when the post is still in the time window to edit, you can delete it entirely.

If you have 'Trusted' status (which you can get by personally meeting one of the mods or freitasm himself), you can go back and edit or delete any of your previous posts. There's no time limit.

Methinks that may be a step too far.

(& @freitasm)

tho I don't mind mods doing it where required or requested.

This election has become so tainted that it should be stopped, both major candidates disqualified, and the nomination process restarted. Things have reached the point where even the least awful choice is still too awful to contemplate. Neither has a sufficient moral mandate to be leader. Everyone knows America is on the decline, but no-one wants it to decline this fast.

Well that would be illegal and anti democratic.

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

I'd still prefer Mrs Clinton, as the alternative is too awful to contemplate.

He's down in the polls, he's admitting he may lose, gone burger. If he had campaigned hard but without the BS, he could well have had a real chance, time for a change and all that, but he disenfranchised too many, too badly.

I hope you are right, I have serious worries for the future of this planet if that gumboot is elected.

The world is going to be a better place when Trump loses and drifts away back to relative obscurity with his TV shows, running casinos and beauty contests etc.

He's becoming more random, desperate, and potentially dangerous.  There shouldn't be any need for response or debate condemning or defending him based on "how to interpret" some of the ludicrous things he's been saying. Even thugs like Putin are much more cautious / scripted.  Trump as Commander in Chief of a a military machine with 10x the budget Putin has at his disposal is a very scary thing.

That was probably the plan anyway.

I seriously doubt if he had any real plans to be the president.

This way he will be spouting for years to come how he was robbed, how he would have done things better, how "crooked Hillary" manipulated the polls, etc etc etc and then how the Republicans are using dirty tricks to stop him running again, and how he would have made "America Great Again".

This whole sideshow has simply been to allow Trump to inflate his ego without him having to actually put up or shut up. He is deliberately sinking himself by being a more obnoxious "The Donald", and like everything else, there will be enough nut jobs around to keep the "conspiracy to stop trump" alive for decades.

Anything is possible, including that he is simply as nutty as he appears. I see last week a sitting senator said she will not be voting for him. The first I think. More than one will be facing similar choices in other electorates. Swim away or sink with the Trump.

At the risk of sounding like a conspiracy nut, I have to wonder if Trump is not some kind of Democratic Manchurian Candidate, either on his own initiative or with the backing of others, who has very cleverly set out to destroy the Republicans as a party by winning the nomination and then becoming increasingly outrageous in his pronouncements. Today he flatly and repeatedly stated that both Hillary and Obama were the 'founders of ISIS'. Republicans are starting to fear that he will not only lose the election, but drag down their other candidates up for re-election, destroying their majority in Congress as well. If he is a Democratic saboteur, he is doing an absolutely brilliant job. Considering the things he has already said, what else can he possibly come up with in the ensuing months to the election?
