A failed lawyer has already tried this; it went nowhere: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Eastman#Kamala_Harris_citizenship_op-ed

All prominent legal scholars disagreed with Eastman's position, and many compared it to the birtherism theory against President Barack Obama...Axios noted that other constitutional scholars do not accept Eastman's view, labeling it "baseless". Axios also criticized Eastman for dismissing the eligibility concerns of 2016 presidential candidate Ted Cruz, born in Calgary, Canada, in a 2016 National Review op-ed, claiming they were "silly".

Yes but that wont stop them trying, different time different rigged SCOTUS.

However, the irony of it all would be the suspected villain being the hero?

The Ghost of Dred Scott Still Haunts Us | TIME

As Justice Thomas similarly recognized earlier this year, the Fourteenth Amendment’s guarantee of birthright citizenship “forever closed the door on Dred Scott.”

It seems Trump is still favored on economics, which might be the decider, although Harris has much improved on Biden's economic faith from the people.

It amazes me people will put so much to the side with Trump after a global pandemic and despite how well the country has done they are so isolated in thinking.

Bill Maher, well, his politics have gotten a bit stale and I no longer watch his show. But a friend sent me this clip which was good.

Vance's has a long history of disparaging people who don’t have children. In addition to his comment about “childless cat ladies,” Vance once described Democrats as “childless sociopaths.” During a podcast interview in 2020, he claimed that childless Americans were making the country “less mentally stable.”

JD Vance: “I worry that it makes people more sociopathic and, ultimately, our whole country a little bit less — less mentally stable. And, of course, you talk about going on Twitter. Final point I’ll make is, you go on Twitter, and almost always the people who are most deranged and most psychotic are people who don’t have kids at home.”

Mentioned in passing: From wikipedia "Phyllis Stewart Schlafly was American conservative activist, and anti-feminist. She held paleoconservative social and political views, opposed feminism, gay rights, and abortion, and successfully campaigned against ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment to the U.S. Constitution."

New Rule: Breeders' Choice

Real Time with Bill Maher (HBO)

Having kids isn’t a triumph. It’s just a choice – and procreating doesn’t make you a better citizen than people who don’t.

Speaking of sociopathy and mental instability, I asked Chat GPT about serial killers with families. Here is part of the response:

**1. Serial Killers with Families

Many serial killers had families, including spouses and children, who were often unaware of their criminal activities. Some notable examples include:

**a. Ted Bundy

  • Family: Bundy was engaged to a woman named Elizabeth Kloepfer and later had a daughter with her. His relationship with Kloepfer was marked by deception and violence.

**b. John Wayne Gacy

  • Family: Gacy was married and had two children. His family was largely unaware of his criminal activities during his lifetime. He maintained a facade of normalcy, including involvement in community events.

**c. Dennis Rader (BTK Killer)

  • Family: Rader was married and had two children. He led a double life, presenting himself as a normal family man while committing his crimes.

**d. Albert Fish

  • Family: Fish had a wife and several children. His crimes were committed while he was married, though his family was largely unaware of his gruesome activities.
**2. Characteristics of Family Life Among Serial Killers

**a. Secrecy and Dual Lives

  • Many serial killers lead double lives, maintaining an outwardly normal family life while committing crimes in secret. This duality often allows them to evade suspicion and law enforcement.

Those who might be deep into power of libertarian markets and Adam Smiths invisible hand.
How then that they can't grasp.

If people are concerned they can't afford to house and feed themselves.
Is it any wonder that they delay children hoping that things might change and when they don't.
Especially in a market where education is expensive, healthcare expensive,
When your job is now promoted to a here today gone tomorrow Gigajob.

Result is.

Its no surprise people don't, or have few.
Then you have pillorying those that have children and find they then can't ride out market fluctuations and changes.
Why did you have children you can't afford to house, school, provide medical care etc.

Elon Musks solution is for the top 1% to have 10x the children.
Elon and friends can't grasp that the mathematics on this don't work.

I don't think the rich want to support 100x children and all the time it takes from their day.
Never mind the intense fighting over inheritance.  Even the 10x.

It seems to me that the world would be a far better place if some parents had had far less or even no children, namely Mr. and Mrs. Trump snr, Mr. and Mrs. Musk snr and Mr. and Mrs. Vance snr.

Not debating Kamala means that Trump may have at least two neurons still firing in his dinosaur brain.

If I were a convicted felon, I wouldn't want to debate a prosecutor outside of Fox New or in Florida judge Aileen Cannon's court house.

The Hill: Trump raises questions about participating in ABC debate: ‘Stay tuned’

Former President Trump on Sunday raised questions about his participation in next month’s debate with Vice President Harris hosted by ABC News.

Trump, in a post on Truth Social, complained about the network’s panel and an interview host Jonathan Karl conducted with Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) on “This Week” to question why he should agree to do a debate hosted by the network.

“I watched ABC FAKE NEWS this morning, both lightweight reporter Jonathan Carl’s(K?) ridiculous and biased interview of Tom Cotton (who was fantastic!), and their so-called Panel of Trump Haters, and I ask, why would I do the Debate against Kamala Harris on that network?” Trump wrote.

The problem is they are paying attention. He still has a very large base. and then as I mentioned the amount of people who just blindly believe he will be better with the economy due to "things were better under Trump", those numbers are massive, some of which crosses over with his lies about the border.

Harris needs to prosecute that one on one, which is why Trump is going to ditch any debates outside of Fox. Harris also needs to start doing large numbers of sit down interviews, which is what abc debate might turn into, but she needs many more.

Because he is controlling the Rhetoric, people listen to negative, when everything feels negativee.

He has a fairly decent base, yes - but the MAGA crowd (or even the total Republican base) are not the entire electorate; not even close to it.

While he has his base, remember he's done absolutely 0 to try and grow it. How many Democrats or Independents do you think would vote for him? It won't be 100% (or even close to it), that's for sure.

I posted this in the other thread, but there's a pertinent bit in there that relates to the above: https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/politics/trump-is-losing-his-audience-opinion/ar-AA1pfjhh

The conventional wisdom among Republicans, former Republicans and the reporters who reflect their views is that Trump must stop playing the role of showman to win over indie voters, especially white women. He must stop saying things like he’s much better looking than Kamala Harris. (Yes, he said that.) They say he needs to stick to policy. “Trump doesn’t seem to be making a serious effort,” Charlie Dent, a former GOP congressman, told The Financial Times. “The focus is still all about maga [Make America Great Again]. But I’m sceptical that the maga base will be large enough to win.”

of course, base is not what Im saying. more the campaign agendas.

The two main election considerations are 1. Economy (peoples cost of living) 2. The border

and they are Trumps only two real campaign topics, the economy was SOOOO much better under Trump, which as naïve and a complete lack of geopolitical and world economic understanding, that is how people feel. The polls for their trust in him and the economy are way out in front. I'll post some tomorrow.

the Border is sadly a lie by Trump. Harris has to get this known to every crevice of the US (along with her Economic plan being separated from Biden).

So Harris has to get on TV in interviews, in every state, every county. It needs to be simple but effective, maybe not mention the pandemic and its trading recession, but more, exactly how she is going to fix it. She said a lot in the DNC, but it needs to be digestible and believable that its very different to the BIDEN/Harris admin, as sadly people associate it with being worse off than under Trump, as silly as that is.

People will even ignore the loss of democracy if it means they can eat etc.

This will be what she wins or loses on.
