Why are they obsessed with building a wall? Why not just a very very long razor wire fence something like Hungary has done? Guard the fence with troops and high tech surveillance gear, helicopters etc. Anyone who makes it over the fence bundle them into a helicopter & deliver them back to Mexico, say a 100 metres on the Mexico side. Before long there would be hardly anyone trying to cross over.

Yep, infra red cameras at night. The troops are already being paid whether there are at South Korea playing backgammon all day or at Guam sunbathing.

It's a crazy World! In Canada a French tourist was arrested because she ran too far on a beach border between the USA and Canada.

Elsewhere in Canada there is a border with the USA where the main street of a town is the border. The North side of the street belongs to Canada - the South to the USA. Provided you just drive on the street you are fine, but you are not allowed to walk on the pavements belonging to the other country. In years past people were allowed to walk provided they went no further but not now. I forget the name of the town but there is a good Youtube about this highly secure border!

Speaking at a rally in Duluth, Minnesota, the president took a break from espousing his 'tough' immigration policies to outline his power and wealth in comparison to 'the elite.'

'Do you ever notice they always call the other side, and they do this sometimes, the elite? The elite!' he told the crowd.

'Why are they elite? I have a much better apartment than they do. I’m smarter than they are. I’m richer than they are. I became president and they didn’t,' Trump said, to cheers from the crowd.

"Am I on the cover again this week?" Trump asked rhetorically. "Boy, have I - so many covers."

Defenders and apologists of the miserable bastard currently destroying the American Dream will jump like hyenas on the fact that the girl was not actually being separated from her mother. This of course ignores the much larger truth that Trump and his managers are damaging the USA and the world in ways that they will not easily recover from. The Time cover does not have to be literally true. It reveals a much, much larger truth that matter a whole hell of a lot more.
