This gets better and better. Nigel Farage says it is 'the biggest insult to a sitting president ever' (yay!) The protest organisers say their campaign raised so much more money than they expected that they are now going to take the balloon on a world tour to 'haunt Mr Trump wherever he goes'.

Do you think it will be flown? I hope so, but will the UK allow it? Maybe they will "make efforts to not allow it" but it flys anyway? The perpetrators may get arrested and fined 2 quid....

Even the leaders of hated regimes with appalling human rights records, such as Saudi Arabia and China, get to run the gauntlet of protestors when they ride down the Mall for their lunch with the Queen. ...
But in the case of Donald Trump, more than 50,000 people have now said they will join a protest against the President ...
The chaos that could result from Trump running into such a huge crowd of people intent on making their feelings known could pose a threat to public order which the authorities dare not risk.
The police just would not be able to cope.
This is why Trump cannot come on a state visit, as was originally planned by Theresa May.
A state visit is when the Queen issues an invitation, on the advice of the government, and the guest arrives with all the pomp and ceremony of a ride down the Mall and banquet at Buckingham Palace.
Instead this US president will be here on a “working visit”, about which we know very little, except that it will involve a meeting with the Queen at Windsor Castle and talks with Mrs May at Chequers. ...
