Next he will be saying that his remarks at the joint press conference were worded to avoid a double negative which is not used in Russian. Anything to create some doubt..

He already done it. Sorry, no link as on bus to the city but Trump completely changed his story today.

Traditionally, mid terms go against the sitting President. Is it likely that REP will be hit hard, and effectively lose voting power? If so, what powers will the POTUS still have to wield?

The worse power to have in the hands of an idiot, the power to wage war before needing House approval and the launch codes.

Ok, but in reality that won't happen. Could anyone put forward a Bill to reverse any past Bill's such as tariffs? Given that they would probably succeed if DEMs have more voting power than REPs.

Here a photo someone took of his notes - with handwritten reminder to himself to say "THERE WAS NO COLUSION' <sic>

freitasm: He already said ["the sentence should have been, 'I don't see any reason why I wouldn't, or why it wouldn't be Russia" instead of "why it would"].

http://fortune.com/2018/07/15/elon-musk-donations-republicans-controversy/

"Musk donated $38,900 to a Political Action Committee named Protect the House. Other contributors to the same fund include NFL owner Robert McNair and casino kingpin Sheldon Adelson, both of whom have made large contributions to President Donald Trump and other Republicans.

Critics have characterized Musk’s contribution as support for a party that opposes much of what he claims to stand for. Above all, the GOP has long been affiliated with attempts to deny the science that predicted climate change, while Musk created an entire company, Tesla, aimed at spreading green-energy technologies.
...

The vitriol generated by Musk’s contributions can be explained in one word: Trump. Musk has previously expressed opposition to the Trump administration, including publicly opposing Trump’s immigration agenda and resigning from Trump’s tech industry advisory council in June 2017 after Trump’s decision to withdraw from the Paris climate accords. Musk stood in stark contrast to his PayPal cofounder Peter Thiel, who loudly supported the Trump campaign.

But Musk’s contribution to Protect The House significantly undermines that stance. The group is specifically aimed at preserving a Republican majority in the House of Representatives in the upcoming midterm elections, against a predicted 'Blue Wave' that could put Democrats in control. Winning a majority in the House would allow Democrats to push back at least somewhat against Trump administration policies, as well as potentially ramping up investigations into allegations of corruption by the Trump campaign, White House staffers, and the president himself."

July 17 (today in the US) was the 4th anniversary of MH17.

Anthony Maslin, the Perth father whose three children were killed on Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17, has let rip at Donald Trump, accusing him of "kissing the ɑrse" of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

It's a great time for Melania to don the "I really don't care, do u?" jacket.
