Journalist Lesley Stahl asked Trump in an interview aired on 60 Minutes Sunday night why he had mocked Ford at a rally a few days after she testified before the Senate that Brett Kavanaugh had attempted to rape her when they were teenagers.

 

“Do you think you treated her with respect?” Stahl asked.

 

“I think so, yea, I did,” the president said.

 

Stahl followed up: “But you seem to be saying that she lied.”

 

“I’m not going to get into it,” Trump said. “Because we won. It doesn’t matter. We won.”

 

Trump turned the Republican subtext on Ford into text: Ford’s story - true or not - is not important.

 

Oh dear.  A somewhat believable story from a Russian defector that Putin was going to deal to Christopher Steele using "novichock".

Steele wrote the dossier about Trump romping with prostitutes (which is now known to be perfectly in character) and how Russia had "kompromat" on Trump on that and dodgy corrupt financial deals he'd done.  (Oh - that's right, Trump was going to release his tax returns... still waiting).

Speaking of DNA, Elizabeth Warren has had hers tested and it does indeed contain a Native American component as she has always claimed. She is now demanding that Trump pay a million dollars to a nominated charity, as the lying blowhard-in-chief announced he would if she had her DNA tested and it indicated what it has. Of course he has denied he ever said any such thing, so she has published a video of him doing exactly that. If Americans keep voting for this deranged doofus they deserve him.
