President Donald Trump claims he "didn't say" that he would pay $1 million to Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren for taking DNA test to review her Native American heritage, after she released the results of one on Monday morning.

"Who cares?" Trump said when asked about the DNA test. When pressed on the once-promised $1 million payment, Trump responded: "I didn't say that. You better read it again."

In fact, Trump did promise $1 million, during a July rally, but only if the test showed she was "an Indian."

Trump Refuses to Pardon White House Turkey After Accusing It of Working for Soros

WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—In a startling break with Thanksgiving tradition, Donald J. Trump refused to pardon the White House turkey after claiming that it was working as a secret operative of the billionaire George Soros.

A group of fourth graders from Bethesda, Maryland, who had gathered on the White House lawn for the annual turkey-pardoning ceremony appeared unprepared for the anti-Soros outburst that Trump unleashed on the Thanksgiving bird.

“That turkey was sent by Soros to spy on me,” Trump said, angrily turning on the fowl. “A lot of people are saying this.”

While the oblivious turkey pecked desultorily at the ground, an increasingly enraged Trump spewed a stream of conspiracy theories linking the feathered animal to global élites, election fraud in Florida, and Jim Acosta.

Trump attempted to lead the fourth-grade class in a chant of “Lock It Up,” apparently directed at the Thanksgiving delicacy, but the students slowly backed away from him in silence.

Tracy Klugian, one of the children who witnessed Trump’s meltdown, said that he found it “sad.”

“I get that he’s upset about Mueller and the midterms, but he shouldn’t take it out on a turkey,” he said.

That would rate to me, as his worst piece of behaviour, ever. Its one thing to rant at other leaders, Florida, and many so ons, but as a leader of  300 million people country, to act like that in front of young impressionable kids. Un be effing lievable

However, based on what I know about Trump, and Thanksgiving, it seemed normal that he might undertake this event, and normal that he behaved this way. 

So fool on me, but fool on him for such a (potential) display being standard fare for him! Thus I took as as real news as it seemed real for me to read that. 

Good on you for being a sport about it. The best satire is that which makes you wonder if it might actually be based on truth. The brilliant thing about this particular story is that it is entirely conceivable that Trump would do something like this. He is dumb enough, ignorant enough, and arrogant enough. 

On a separate note, has anyone ever wondered what actually happens to all those pardoned turkeys? Do they really live out their lives in turkey paradise? Does someone look after them to ensure that the terms of the pardon are respected? Is this possibly another hidden scandal in the making?

Yes, I never gave it a second thought, I never even saw it as outlandish, just normal. What I expect for the days news, there will be another issue tomorrow

President Trump said he would not overrule his acting attorney general, Matthew G. Whitaker, if he decides to curtail the special counsel probe being led by Robert S. Mueller III into Russian interference in the 2016 election campaign.

 

“Look, it’s going to be up to him ... I would not get involved,” Trump said in an interview on “Fox News Sunday.”

 

Trump also essentially shut the door to sitting down with Mueller, telling host Chris Wallace that his written answers mean “probably this is the end” of his involvement in the probe into Russian interference in the 2016 campaign.
