Im guessing the reason Harris campaign wanted another debate was to keep momentum with less than 60 to go. I still think she should be doing the same soft question sit downs that Trump loves doing on Fox, but have them in key areas of the swing states on local channels as well as national to assure coverage, to keep people learning more about her policies and to debunk some of the silly myths.

Grass roots, she needs to keep the youth vote engaged in turning out to vote, it all looks promising now, but registering is only one part. So the effectiveness of her grass roots campaign is in the follow up. 

Speaking of youth votes, I tried to find the end number of new RV's came from Swift's endorsement, last data I can see is the 406000 within 24 hours. Swift did mention voting early but the gold stamp would be if she follows it up with a reminder ;-p On a serious note, that goes back to the grass roots and final stretch of the Harris campaign.

I think that's the giant Elvis chicken rather than the Trump one. Although the hair is a decent match for Trump, the wings are way too big.

Indeed. Trump clearly doesn't get how much of a fail it was and has been measured so and even with his HUGE loyal base, the numbers for Harris on nearly every metric were higher. 

He also brushes off the Swift endorsement like he did with Nikki Haley voters, ie he thought he didnt need her voters. I don't know if it's just bravado but he gains nothing by talking about it. If anybodys base is more loyal and larger, it could be hers.

I'm thinking he will change tune on a 2nd debate.

I think now, after he looked so deranged, is the time to let loose with an advert that points out his mental health decline. Similar to what Conway is trying to do for her, but leaning more toward do we want a President in decline already at 78yo.

Conways is a little less subtle, but now is the time.

YouGov released their lastest GE Poll. Harris 52% Trump 47%.

Looking at "all polls" (all GE polls) avg, Harris is at 49.6%, Trump 46.3%

Whilst GE polls have to be taken for what they are, its also the case when you boost a candidate nationally, their Swing State LV or RV's grow as well, but this does not show up directly as each State also has its polls done individually. This is why Race to WH has a GE boost simulation, ie you can boost 2% and see what this does to their simulated Race to 270 across the map. Means little other than GE Polls do impact real world swing state situations, rather than simulated ones.

PA is back above that low 1% avg figure. Being THE state in the swing states with 19EV's, Harris is forging on with NV now nearly above 1% avg, combined with a slim hold over NC (0.3% avg), with Georgia and Arizona still within striking distance, it will be interesting if she goes on offense in these 4 slim lead states, or if she consolidates. This is where those strategist she hired then on top Obama's as well, will be needing to earn their keep.

Speaking of Trump's mental state, to me its going to be fascinating if it is put in the spotlight and if he will have to defend this situation, similar to what Biden had to go through.
