At his second term Obama was about 10 points behind by a fair number of polls, in the popular vote, and STORMED in with electoral votes.
Agree, and in Obama's case he won the popular vote also. Wikipedia shows Obama in 2008 with 52.92% of the popular vote, and again in 2012 with 50.95℅ of the popular vote.
Needless to say, Trump will be hoping for a similar effect motivating non-voters to the polls and those not captured in telephone opinion surveys.
