TRUMP SAYS HE WOULD BE A MUCH BETTER PRINCESS THAN MEGHAN MARKLE

WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report) - Donald J. Trump raised eyebrows on both sides of the Atlantic on Saturday by claiming that he would be a “much better princess” than Meghan Markle.

Calling the Duchess of Sussex “a nasty woman,” Trump said, “If I were a princess, I would not be nasty. People would say, ‘Donald Trump is the nicest princess.’ ”

Trump added that “all a princess has to do is sit on a throne, and I would be very good at that also.”

“I sit between ten and twelve hours a day, minimum,” he said.

Finally, Trump said that, as Princess, he would do “a way better job at waving at people than Nasty Meghan does.”

“Meghan Markle’s waving is a disgrace,” he said. “I have the best waves.”

freitasm:

US wants access to DHS after is post-Brexit deal.

They want to export their crappy healthcare now. With Trump being the master negotiator.

This won't be good for the world, you see?

Donald's UK charm offensive continues ...

The New York Times - President Trump’s Visit to Queen Mixes Pageantry With the Petty

June 3, 2019

LONDON — Queen Elizabeth II welcomed President Trump to Buckingham Palace on Monday with an honor guard and royal artillery salute, while Mr. Trump carried on an ugly dispute with the mayor of London, whom he called a “stone cold loser” and said was doing a terrible job of running Britain’s capital city.

The juxtaposition of high pageantry and low name-calling, on the first day of Mr. Trump’s state visit to Britain, captured yet again the odd swath that this president cuts on the world stage: impulsive and erratic, delighted by a lavish welcome but preoccupied by petty feuds or events back home....

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

How would you expect an American to spell it?
Better to have the majority of English speaking people thinking he’s spelt it wrong, than the good ol’ boys who vote for him back home....

Some of the world's finest nepotism was on display when the British royal family hosted Trump and the U.S. delegation.

The Washington Post - Trump urges customers to drop AT&T to punish CNN over its coverage of him

June 3 at 6:38 PM

President Trump took his long-running attacks against CNN to a new level on Monday by suggesting in tweets that a consumer boycott of its parent company, AT&T, could force “big changes” at the news organization.

“I believe that if people stoped [sic] using or subscribing to AT&T, they would be forced to make big changes at CNN, which is dying in the ratings anyway,” Trump tweeted. “It is so unfair with such bad, Fake News!”

The comment, which Trump tweeted in response to seeing CNN coverage while traveling in London during a European tour, fueled criticisms that the president was using his power inappropriately to intimidate critics.

Historians struggled to cite an equivalent threat even from presidents such as Richard Nixon renowned for their hostility toward the press. ...

The Washington Post - Trump dismisses London protests, says he would have sued E.U. over Brexit

June 4 at 3:10 PM

After spending Monday with the royal family, President Trump turned to business on the second day of a state visit to Britain.

● Even while protesters congregated in the streets of London on Tuesday, Trump said at a news conference that “a lot of it is fake news.”

● He said he “would have sued” the E.U. over Brexit, but granted that Prime Minister Theresa May is “probably a better negotiator than I am.”
