THIS IS WHAT THE DEMS ARE UP AGAINST  https://popular.info/p/children-are-suffering-these-companies

The Trump campaign is spending significant resources on highly manipulative online ads designed to make it appear that he has support from key demographic groups.

Here is how it works. Trump is not polling well among women in general and young women in particular. So it is running an advertisement on Facebook and Google featuring "Tracey" a young woman who is presented as a big Trump fan.

"President Trump is doing a great job. I could not ask for a better president of the United States of American," Tracey says as we watch her stroll across the beach.

But Tracey is not an actual Trump supporter. She is a model from a video, "Summer beach beauty walking," purchased on istockphoto.com.

The ad does include a disclaimer: "Actor portrayal. Actual testimonial." But the disclaimer is shown for a split second in an extremely tiny font.

Notably, there is no evidence that whoever gave the "actual testimonial" is a young woman, which is the clear point of the ad.

The Trump campaign is running similar ads featuring stock photo models representing other key demographics -- an older Hispanic man and a young hipster.

TRUMP FURIOUS THAT MAR-A-LAGO IS LEFT WITH NO EMPLOYEES AFTER ICE RAID

PALM BEACH, Florida (The Borowitz Report)—Donald Trump was reportedly “hopping mad” on Saturday after a surprise ICE raid left his Mar-a-Lago retreat with no employees.

The ICE agents conducting the pre-dawn raid swept through the opulent Palm Beach club and left guests with no one to prepare their food, wash their dishes, or clean their rooms.

When informed of the news, a furious Trump reportedly barked at his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, and his sons Eric and Donald, Jr., ordering them to hurry to Palm Beach and wait on tables.

A spokesman for Mar-a-Lago called the situation “dire,” warning that the resort had lost almost as many staff members as the White House.

Fred99:

From the New York Times - September 12 1938:

When and if fascism comes to America it will not be labeled "made in Germany"; it will not be marked with a swastika; it will not even be called fascism; it will be called, of course, "Americanism,"

Wow. 1938. That could have been published yesterday. Oh wait, it was.

Tracey From Florida probably meant to say

" Of course I support Trump as President. With all those government agents all around him he can no longer walk into our changing rooms, grab us by the pussy, or sexually assault us. This has potentially improved the lives of thousands of young women all across the USA."

freitasm: Trump talking about women (Ilhan Omar, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib and Ayanna Pressley) lawfully elected to represent their voters in Congress. Trump shows how racist and misogynistic he is.

To add insult to injury Fox News was the only US channel not to cover this story, but solely had a "news" piece that Nancy Pelosi was feuding with the same women.

A classic misdirection piece.

I hate to say it, but this much is true ... Nancy Pelosi is publicly feuding with the same women.

The Washington Post - The Democrats are fighting each other when they should be fighting Trump

House Democrats need to get their act together. Now.

(Note Donald doing "the Pelosi clap")

So Trump has revived the old communist bugbear to bash duly elected congressional representatives. He truly is bringing back the McCarthy era.

He has the full-throated support of Fox News, which has devoted itself to keeping most Americans dumb and uninformed. Rupert Murdoch should be marched off to jail as a dangerous subversive and Fox should be immediately shut down. It is not a conservative voice. It is an anti-American institution dedicated to undermining democratic values.

Trump demands apology from congresswomen he told to “go back” to third world hellholes

Vanity Fair
By Bess Levin

According to the president, the women of color he insisted are from “crime infested” countries are the racist ones.

Over the weekend, Donald Trump took a lot of flack for his tweets about freshman congresswomen Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley, and Rashida Tlaib, which may have had something to do with the fact that they were racist as hell, even for him. Claiming, falsely, that all four women “originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe,” the president ranted the lawmakers have no right to weigh in on “how our government is to be run” and should “go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came.” Setting aside the fact that, as democratically elected representatives, the women in question most certainly have a right to voice their opinions re: how the government should be run—particularly when it comes to not imprisoning children in horrifying conditions—Trump made clear that he seemingly believes only white people are true Americans, while people of color all come from “sh1thole” countries. (In reality, the country Ocasio-Cortez, Pressley, and Tlaib all come from is the United States, while Omar, who was born in Somalia, became a U.S. citizen in 2000 at age 17.)

So on Monday, the president did what any deranged racist who’s been called out on his abhorrent views would do: doubled down on his no good, very bad take and insisted that, in reality, the women he attacked on Sunday are the racist ones who owe him an apology.

“When will the Radical Left Congresswomen apologize to our Country, the people of Israel and even to the Office of the President, for the foul language they have used, and the terrible things they have said,” @realDonaldTrump raged to his followers. “So many people are angry at them & their horrible & disgusting actions!” He continued: “If Democrats want to unite around the foul language & racist hatred spewed from the mouths and actions of these very unpopular & unrepresentative Congresswomen, it will be interesting to see how it plays out. I can tell you that they have made Israel feel abandoned by the U.S.”

He followed up that take by quoting his good pal Lindsey Graham, who insisted Monday that “AOC and this crowd” are running on a “disgusting” agenda of, among other things, “free Healthcare for Illegal Immigrants.”

To round things out, he told reporters on the South Lawn before a “Made in America Product Showcase” Monday that his tweets were “not at all” racist. “If somebody has a problem with our country, if somebody doesn’t want to be in our country, they should leave,” he said, reportedly ignoring comments that all four lawmakers in question are U.S. citizens.

So, just to recap: The U.S. citizens who the president told to “go back” to the “crime infested places from which they came” are the racist ones and who owe Donald Trump—the not-racist one—an apology for having the temerity to insist the government stop subjecting children to “haunting” conditions at the border. Just so it’s clear.

I would just add to this that if there is any country that is a crime-infested sh¡thole, it is probably America. Yes, there are manicured communities with mansions (gated, so crime is clearly a problem). There are affluent neighbourhoods with big houses like those seen on TV and in films. There are people who live well. But wander through any city with open eyes and you will also witness the widespread drug epidemics, the extreme poverty, the homelessness, the lack of health care, the violent gun crime. If you have money, know how to avoid dangerous areas, and know how to work the system, America can be an okay place to live. If you are poor, lacking in education, seen by others as an outsider or undesirable, it can be the biggest sh¡thole imaginable. And Donald Trump is the fat a$$ crapping on it all.
