GARBAGE: As a customer, if I, say, didn't visit GZ forums, how would I know there's a problem?
Be kind. They're a newer provider with a smaller team of people. These problems are often needle in a haystack type problems that take time to investigate and also resolve.
Just note that Geekzone is not official support for them and the person behind the Quic account is basically volinteering their time in being here. If you diagnose the issue and think there is a fault with them and the fault is 100% not on your side then raise a fault with them via the Quic portal. I understand this case was different, but this is still a self service type ISP regardless.
Lets not scare them away from Geekzone ok :) if you require ongoing support then Quic may not be the best provider for you. Things may change after this incident as they learn the best way of doing things.
Hold up. While I absolutely respect where you're coming from;
Didn't bag the company, didn't bag the people, didn't cuss anyone out, didn't say anything mean, just said I was disappointed in bad performance and no communication.

Woke up this morning to non working internet.. bit of troubleshooting and it appears quic no longer have a route to cloudflare DNS. Switching to Google DNS resolved (hehe) the problem for me.

This is odd. I use CF DNS on my Pihole and haven't had any issues, I checked the logs and can't see any DNS resolution failures...

michaelmurfy: @GARBAGE all good. Sorry I may have read your earlier message a little differently. We’ve had providers come and go from Geekzone including a number of staffers who provided excellent support only to then say “I’m out” when a problem happened and people were tagging them and viewing them as the face of the company. Basically we want to prevent that here too. I fully understand they were quite quiet about this issue and that can be frustrating but I was more mentioning they’re a smaller company so all hands were on deck. Basically when Quic post it is coming from an engineer who was likely hands on deck dealing with a P1.
That’s more where the be kind comes from. Wasn’t directly aimed at you, it was in general and also a gentle reminder to everyone else of that fact too.
Yep -- agreed and understood!

Hello, just an update, as of now i have been switch by ultra fast fibre, unfortunately they put me on lan 2 of my ont instead of lan 1, so i'll have to switch the port and i got to ring spark to cancel them so its going to be annoying to get through to the loyalty department to cancel my service but hopefully i'll be able to report later what the change did

Still a pretty solid deal. I'm actually considering dropping from the 900Mbps to 300Mbps to save a few bucks, purely because I can only think of one site that ever gets even 4-500Mbps (my seedbox in Europe) and it's not worth paying the extra for.
