If anyone happens to see a deal on the Sony WF-1000XM5's $350 or below this coming Easter Weekend, please shout out, I returned my Bose Ultra's that were astonishing for ANC, but terrible for the sound people could hear when you talked to them using them, esp in louder environments. Wife couldn't hear me at all in the Airport, though I couldn't hear anything but her. Add to this, somewhat subpar sound quality compared to my Technics AZ80's, and it wasn't really a great combination.

Has anyone tried the JBL Tour One M2? They are down to $199 for the Easter weekend. I was tossing up between Bose QC45 and Sony xm4 but spotted these JBLs which are up there in feature set with the premium offerings.

I haven't but I'd take the Sony XM5's (not 4's) over the Bose personally.

Just got the Bose QC Ultra cans, liking the new sound profile so far, very different from the NC700 with more bass but not overly so.

Will test out the ANC next week when I am back to the office environment.

Loving the size of the carry case, should make my work backpack less bulky which also carries a powerbank and a GaN charger, along with a work laptop, Logitech MX mini keyboard and MX Master 3s mouse.

Ok, so Sonos just announced the Ace cans, apparently it's been a long time coming.

The impressions videos on YT so far is that it's minimalist in design with some special tricks up its sleeves that the Sony's & Bose's don't have.

For me, the fact that it doesn't foldaway into a smaller footprint in the case is a deal breaker for me.

Still happy with my QC Ultra.

It's available for pre-order now on the Sonos website for NZ$800!!

What do you guys reckon?

Really? I love my Sonos products (2 x Beams and 2 x One SL's) but headphones were the last thing on my mind of what I wanted from Sonos.

Not the best benchmark if Sonos want to move these things. I can count on one hand the number of AirPod Max I have spotted in the wild since their release four years ago.

It says the Ace does Lossless. Do you interpret it's statement of requiring cabled connection on IOS to mean Lossless is only supported by Apple, and requires a cabled connection to do so, or that to do lossless with IOS, you need a cable, and therefore Android would not require a cable?

Is Lossless truly possible over a BT connection?
I was always under the (possibly false) impression that all BT audio was compressed - therefore not Lossless as such, despite the audio source.
