Yeah they've been very flaky recently with a lot of errors and I think a fair bit of downtime :/ It's a pity the geekzone pricing tool doesn't offer the functionality of pricespy and only seems to find half as many stores (I know there have been explanations of why this is before, but as a user it doesn't really matter to me why)

The GZ version looks very like priceme. Are they related?

Although the GZ one has even fewer prices than priceme.

I can forgive pricespy its failings so long as they have the most categories and most stores.

I'd love to be able to save a favourite search, so I can repeat it periodically without having to reenter all the search parameters.

Just scroll down to the bottom of Geekzone Price and you will see the disclaimer that PriceMe is the provider for our listings.

We don't have ALL of PriceMe because we limited it to categories that are more related to our site.

Fair enough, but for even just for computer components a price comparison tool that doesn't seem to include playtech, alphacity or pcforce just isn't really worth looking at. In fact it only includes one of my "go to" stores (computer lounge)

Things happen fast here... Just got an email from PriceMe's tech folks who found this thread.

They tell me those retailers are in their database but since they aren't paying clients they usually don't show up in third party listings like ours.

As a special for Geekzone uses, they are going to start listing prices for those retailers in our pages. It will be a few weeks before this happens though as they have to put this change in the queue with other projects they have currently going.

An update on my previous reply... Geekzone Price now lists all retailers in the database, even those that aren't paying for links (in which case there's only the description and price). Check this page for an example.
