KDL70W850B this model down to  $3500 Harvey....just wondered on peoples thoughts any one have one?...googling at moment for reviews any...

I've got the 60 inch version and it's not a bad unit.
My major gripe is the 3d function is quite poor, and requires "fiddling" each time I use it, ie setting 1,2,3,0,-1,-2,-3. Having to set this each time I watch something 3d is a pain in the butt.
I never use the smart apps so can't comment on those.
Picture wise it's ok, but I compare it to my 2011 plasma which is like apples and oranges. In saying that there has been a number of firmware updates since I've had it which has improved the picture (at least I think so).

cool...not overly worried bout 3d...just wanting a solid picture for movies and general tv and of course sports...thought the price was rather good..

For the price that's a LOT of TV...

roughly 4 metres...have 48inch at mo...dunno if that's far enough or not....just liked the price

The recommended viewing distance for a 70" TV is 3m so 4m is fine, if possible maybe move a little closer. That is a lot of screen for the price.

yeah may offer may have finished now...didn't buy it got close...lol...quite liked a 65''4k sony..for same cash/// will keep looking 70 looks amazing though
