argh this is driving me nutts
For no reason all my epg has stopped, I have no Idea how it worked before or how to get it working again

Do you mean after a while there is just "No Data" is EPG grabbing enabled on the freview channels? how log have you left it? You can try doing EPG refresh, also under general setting>EPG there is an option to grap while timeshifting, it wouldn't hurt to turn that on.
