Hello.

Ive got a new ASPIRE - Pc (win 10). & trying to set up Google Chromecast.

Ive got Chromecast working from my mobile phone - but when i set up on my PC 9also on my old win8 pc) - It cannot locate my new chromecast device.

it just says "searching for cast devices." But it never finds anything, or produces a time-out error.

Is there something i need to install or download first ?

EDIT. Both PCs and the mobile phone are connected to the same wifi group..  - so both Pcs should be able to see the chromecast device

Ive worked it out..

Any video on certain websites - EG youtube, i can play on my TV directly from the screen.

If i need to play any other video (ive tried MP4 so far), i just use Google Chrome & put the URL of my file...  - Now i can watch MP4s
