Sorry for posting here but seemed best bet to have this answered

Anyone know of a price comparisons website for TV's like pricespy is for PC gear. Yes they have a few TV's on pricespy but not enough to get a decent feel.

Cheers

If you are looking at one of the big brands you would be best to have a look at a few sites such as:

www.noelleeming.co.nz
www.dse.co.nz
www.bondandbond.co.nz

In addition ring Harvey Norman and possibly JB Hifi if they have a store near you.

Shouldn't take longer than 5 minutes and you will know who has the best price.

A price comparision site isn't really of any use because for many of the major chains such as Harvey Noorman their prices aren't fixed. Their marked prices are typically 10 - 20% more than the product is worth and haggling is expected. Infact if you don't negotiate over price there and pay the ticket price you can guarantee you are getting ripped off.

You could have a look at this site as well;

www.priceme.co.nz

They seem to have quite a lot of TV's listed.
