Hi guys so I got a new laptop and it has HDMI and MiniPort display plugs.

My question is. Am I better off using HDMI cable or Miniport to HDMI cable? Will one give me a better output to the TV?

I imagine your TV only has an HDMI input, so at a guess I'd think going mini-displayport -> adaptor -> HDMI will offer no benefits other than cost more for the adaptor, etc.
