NavinR: Has any one had any coverage issues on the XT network?

On Vodafone there is a soft hand-over to the 2.5G GSM network when you are out of 3G coverage - but as Telecom doesn't have a GSM network to fall back on I was curious to see if any one had experienced issues.

My brothers friend has, she lives in Napier and some of the time runs out of reception on a XT mobile phone.

I live in Hawkes Bay and have fantastic coverage all over the place. Lots of travelling too, all over North Island, and no dead spots where I thought there should be coverage.

In my opinion, XT coverage is actually quite excellent.

Your mileage may vary.

Ta ta for now.
