What they should have done was leave a big 'ole pile of 4G SIMs by the door of telecom stores/retailers and let people grab one as they passed by or something, then when they're ready, call an 0800 number, follow steps and swap to the new SIM. Bit late now, but this online ordering thing was nothing but trouble from people I've spoken to as well. Glad I managed to get one from a store as I needed to swap SIM anyway.

I swapped in store - they were hesitant initially, but once I complained that they would only courier to a street address (idiocy by telecom as its courierpost so can do po boxes fine) I got them to swap it over.

Going to be in Wellington on Tuesday, thought I'd try the new 4G but its not looking possible, ordered a sim weeks ago but still nothing. No point going to the store in Nelson as I highly doubt they'll be stocking them as we are not getting 4G yet.

Hornby, explains it all :) they're just a dealer, if you're going to Riccarton anytime soon just get them to do it.

I have advised before this is handset software related, Not related to the SIM or the carrier
