Can you both confirm for me when you did the factory reset?
was it before or after the first connect when it updated?..
i appreciate it shouldnt require it, but unfortunately some of the units being dispatched are still old firmware.
we are in the process of upgrading all of these..

I haven't done a factory reset (yet). Only had the device barely a week along with my new fibre connection. As per previous post, I don't have any documentation re default password and IP address, so I've been hesitant about resetting and starting again.

I have reset my modem and the SPARK-FON SSID is still there. What do i do
Mine was after the update firmware right now is v6.00.13 build01 thanks

@hio77 Got mine and it is up and running.
Some initial feedback:
1/ I can't see where it shows you the up time for the Fibre connection, although I can see the menu option for DSL up time.
2/ Pitty it doesn't seem to allow you to label 'unknown' devices (using the unique MAC address). See attached screen grab. All the 'unknown' devices are named in the actual device so not sure why it is not passed back to the modem, but I seem to recall the HG659b allowed you to edit and name them. Makes it easy trying to trace which device is which.
3/ Have not factory reset yet so I still have FON, but I am on v13.
^ BUMP ^
Re 1/ & 2/ : are my comments valid or have I missed the menu item in the settings to adjust these?
Cheers

My Laptops all win 10 chromecast and printer are named, desktop/ media center win 10 and tablets and phones are not cheers
Have just restored to factory default, before I reinstalled my settings my laptop automatically connected to Spark-6cxu70 with no prompting and gave me full internet access this was coming from the modem and anyone could connect.
I reinstalled my settings and the above wifi stopped and my normal 2.4 5 was back and also Spark- Fon cheers

Oh. you are reinstalling you old configuration? that will reset things to before the factory reset, thus nullifying what we are trying to do.

Good point 🤡
Right have done this and spark -fon has gone, but also where I was seeing both my networks 2.4 and 5 now it shows 1 to get them both back you need to turn band steering off cheers
