Mooseboy:crazed: Ofcourse you realise that the ones complaining about speed issues with Torrents aren't really going to get that fixed, the Slow down of torrents are exactly what the purpose behind the shaping of the traffic is for. As more than likely from Telecom's point of view they are happy that torrent speeds are low.
Thats one thing I've always wondered about, because torrent speeds have always been faster than HTTP for me.
A Good solution would be to perhaps put a cap of say 600KB/s on everything between 9AM and Midnight, and then from Midnight onwards - UNLEASH... That would indeed help this situation, I would say. Who gives Telecom the right to choose what to cap, who to cap, where to cap, or even WHY to cap a particular person or program etc?
I understand that SOME people are maxing out their connections monthly by downloading 24/7, but that's a percentage of customers on this plan, and a very few I would imagine. Most of us would really just like what we had back - it was fair, it was good, and it was worth the money that we were paying.
