I have just got off FaceTime with my mother in Australia, launch day there is tomorrow (19th).  Not a single store (Vodafone, Telstra or Virgin) in the shopping mall she works at has the 6 plus in stock - they say it is at least a 3 week wait as Apple never sent them any of the larger models, only the iPhone 6.  They were very dubious to start with just trying to get her to sign up and they would see if they could allocate her a 6+ tomorrow - they then admitted they never had any.  Wonder if there is going to be a huge wait for NZ telcos to actually get them in.  Apple US has them all on a 3-4 week back order.

The Facebook post regarding preorders on Spark seems to have disappeared?

Just got off the sales team. Phone will be available tomorrow(Pre-Order) on/off contract as they have told me. Looking forward to the iPhone 6+! No word yet on whether dummy units will be available. Hoping they are.

Neither available to be pre ordered on prepay, although that's no surprise.

It'd be nice if you could pick up in store like you could last time....

I've ordered one too - Spark did have to say this to me on twitter today though:

"@chriswiggin3 Courier delivery only, all going to plan we aim to have it in your hands on the 26th :) ^RW"

So here's hoping they arrive on the 26th, rather than 3-5 days afterwards as stated on their site (probably to protect themselves in case of issues)

Site fell over for me at payment; I changed it to "add to my bill" so hopefully it's all sorted.
