Pumpedd:

yes you can only do that on gigabit....

Correction: Downloading 120 high quality songs in a minute before heading to the train station? Possible only on Gigabit. Average download speed was around 400Mbit.

Hence why I said what I said. Still don't have data...

That's one heck of an outage I have to say.
To take out cell towers, broadband and international all separate.
I'd hate to be the network architect on Monday explaining how everything was so interconnected.

It is standard to have all those parts operating over a single converged IP network.

tstone: Fibre broadband still variable here in North Shore. After rebooting every device and checking cables I am getting waves of connectivity/no connectivity. Very frustrating.

Ditto (Fibre on North Shore, comes and goes)

It's a relief to hear that I'm not the only person still experiencing broadband problems, given that Spark insists that broadband is 'fixed'.

Good time to be using ISP DNS servers :)

(although I assume it might be PPP that is going up and down?)

I'm using the standard 'default' DNS Spark addresses and getting short 5-10 seconds of connectivity every 2-3 minutes. Very frustrating.
