The product has not been launched by Telecom. Yes you will get that same story until it launches.

Peter has got me on the trial, but the systems say I don't qualify.

Mate that was the same for me. Keep calling them, eventually you will find a person thats willing to set you up. Thats what happened with me anyway :P

Still waiting for a launch date :) if I posted my line stats would it help determine if I could get VDSL, or does that not mean a thing?

Tried to get on the trial via emailing the broadband help desk, no luck. Asked for a rough estimated launch date and didn't hear back.

Would be nice to get a rough Expected launch date.

I just spoke to Telecom via online chat - VDSL2 plans will be available soon...no firm dates still.

Me too :) I can't get fibre but would like VDSL.
