After reading each line of your chat transcript, do you still believe the wireless broadband plans offer unlimited data usage after $50 of overage?

I ask because it seems you are ignoring the rest of the conversation that states this is not correct. It all rather pretty black and white to me..

$10 for first 5GB overage, then the data usage is blocked. Customers can purchase a one off or renewing extra 15GB for $20

My apologies, the first price was for regular 80GB plan, not wireless

The last comment confirming the original information given was for fixed broadband i.e ADSL etc not the wireless product you were inquiring about

We are giving this a go as rural wireless broadband. We have LOS 4G signal and since we moved in we have been using our phones as a preference to the ADSL2 we are supposed to have. It turns out we are 9km from the box and chorus are afraid to touch it in case it breaks, we have okish internet when the sun is shining and people arent home. So long as the electric fence is off, the neighbours electric fence is off, its not raining and you dont use it during peak hours our phone line (copper) goes too.

We are 5km from town and the nearest exchange but for some bizarre reason we are connected to an exchange on the far side of Greytown.

Cross fingers and hope this works.

In theory ADSL2, in reality..dialup speed most of the time. I was out there today working on some trees and noticed a number of breaks with DIY repairs on the line.

I just did a speedtest and its pretty good right now in comparison to what we normally get.

Why not apply for it and see what happens? They would install a jackpoint for VDSL which would tidy up any wiring issues.
