Well its been out with Sprint for a few months already.

Anyone with the original A900 would probably come across some of its numerous bugs.... which the a900m fixes.

Funny thing is that apparently Sprint have been denying its an update but rather a "new phone".

Having said that a certain individual in the US is supplying the flash file and instructions to upgrade an a900 to a900m for US$15.

Felix - any public word on if we are likely to see this update? and if so if Telecom will upgrade customers handsets or expect them to buy a new one?

Edit: The fixes involved include T9, GPS, bluetooth and now includes downloadable themes.

what problems have you had with yours? i have used them and found it to actually be quite good. the t9 works as it should though i do need to test one feature of the add words.

gps is not used in nz....

the buetooth works fine from my experience.

there was an upgrade earlier in the year which fixed many things.

I don't have one personally, i have the a920, but was interested for geekness sake.

The A900 couldn't add words to the T9 dictionary, there is no T9 support in java apps.
Bluetooth would sometimes phantom call.
And although GPS doesn't work in NZ it didn't used to work in the states on the a900 even though it was supposed to.

And of course random crashes etc.

Were you talking about the upgrade for the a900 or the a920?

a920, T9 is non- existent,... even my new w531 samsung has the problem.. (the added word stays only for the session only)

no t9 support in java apps is known.. groan.

Bluetooth is a bit poor. well at least it has it. I still like the phone asides this.

(i have the a920, w531 and n361 and get to use a 900 daily.)
