I know this is often the first place I look when theres an issue going on, so seems fitting to share this time.

There is an issue with mobile connectivity in Invercargill city (appears to just be the city centre tower ).

Been ongoing since 1pm and 20mins ago the call centre didn't have a eta.

If you have to run heating in winter, you don’t own enough computers.

Have you contacted the Mobile Helpdesk on 0800 800 163 and get them to check?

Yes :)

More just info that anything, personally its easier to pop on here and see if any faults happening than ring them but there wasn't anything for lil Invercargill ;)

Im also experiencing a loss of reception in central Christchurch. Couple of colleague are having the same issue.

Just been told by a mate in Nelson they also don't have any service either. Very weird...

Outage appears to be affecting all users south of Taupo (except Whanganui and/or Wanganui :-P). Started at 1525

Telecom have no ETA on a fix

That has only been posted a few minutes ago...I checked there at 1610 and there were no issues listed.

wow.. didn't realise it was more that invers :O The telecom chick seemed to imply that it was just some areas of Invercargill

Been out in Nelson since 3pm. Still out. I completely lost service for about 15-20 mins around 4pm.
Hard to check if theres a fault if you can't connect to the internet to check.
