Telecom broadband is down in Miramar?

My VDSL has been down all day. My modem reports the error "Concentrator not reachable".

I rung Telecom and they say they have no ETA but someone is at my cabinet fixing the issue as we speak.

I checked the 3 closest cabinets and nobody is there and I still have no internet connection.

Anyone else in Miramar with this problem?

Hi - We're in Miramar and use Telecom broadband (not exactly sure which flavour, but it's delivered thru' the phone line) but have not experienced any outage that we're aware of.

Hey, it's Miramar... by definition we're ALL near Darlington...!? But, actually, yeah, we're at the bottom end of Townsend Rd, just up Awa Rd a short way.
Good luck with your broadband... I presume you've tried Telecom Support?

haha true, Darlington is a long road. I'm not far from you but we'd be on different cabs.

Yup tried Telecom, they told me it's affecting everyone. By "everyone" I think they mean just me LOL

I rung Telecom back and they said power had gone out to my cabinet. They gave me an ETA of January 4th! WTF!

Anyway it's backup now so the sparky must've come back from holiday early :-)

hehe they dont generally leave cabinets offline long since chorus gets bitched at by their customers.
