Last Friday (the 20th of Feb) I realised that my ping had noticeably increased, from a mare 4ms all the way to 20ms. Upon further investigation I found that my sync rate on the download side had increased too, from 35.5Mbps to 39.2Mbps

So what I was wondering is whether or not this high ping and slight speed increase is a direct result of DLM? And how long it will last beyond the ~7 days that have past.

General stability has also taken a hit too, with pages and services regularly timing out and/or stuttering. I frequently game and use multiple streaming services so this
is a bit of a annoyance, although it's still a bit of a first world problem :)

I'm currently on a Spark Unlimited VDSL plan with a phone line too.

Line stats for those who need them:
Line standard VDSL2 Downstream line rate (kbit/s) 39211 Upstream line rate (kbit/s) 10352 Downstream SNR (dB)  12.3 Upstream SNR (dB)  18.8 Downstream line attenuation (dB) 11.5 Upstream line attenuation (dB) 19.6 Downstream output power (dBmV) 13.5 Upstream output power (dBmV) -7.8 Downstream CRC 167 Upstream CRC 7 Downstream FEC 9044 Upstream FEC 2386

What is the uptime on those stats? error rates look fine.

Absolutely, your interleavings have been increased as a result of DLM adjusting.

It is not uncommon to see an increase in speed on the higher latency profiles.

Stability, technically should be a tad better, As above, details on your linestats there? Your unlikely to be able to notice the difference in page loading between DLM-8 and DLM-1, Likely unrelated.

14 days on a error rate like that, your both due to drop down to DLM-1 at some point, and likely never going to notice the effect of so little errors.

might take a month or two to get back to DLM-1.

As i said previously, likely your browsing issues are actually unrelated.
