Hey Geekzoners,

Just a heads up that some Bigpipe customers in the central and south North Island regions may be experiencing an outage at the moment, beginning at 6:50 AM. The problem is, apparently, with a piece of Chorus network infrastructure in Tauranga and it's currently being investigated - we have just heard a link has been severed.

We will update this post with an expected resolution time once we have more details.

If you're affected, we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience.

After the outage has been fixed, we suggest rebooting your modem before trying to reconnect.

Update: looks like the outage has been cleared up! Everything should come back online automatically, but if you're still having trouble connecting, try rebooting your modem. If you're still having trouble after that, feel free to drop us a line
