Im trying to access parent control on my HG630b modem. As need to setup so I can watch US Netflix on my Chromecast.
From what I read I have to block Google DNS in the parent control.

But reading he modem manual it says I have to access 1. Internet, 2. Parent control from web management.
But only menus I have are Status, Basic and Maintenance. Cant find parent control in any of them.

Any ideas where to find correct menu.

You should log into the HG630b on any browser with 192.168.1.254 (default) Login = admin, password = admin

In there you will find an "Advanced" tab on the left
Under that you will also see Filtering, note there is no Parental Control per se, though I have seen it somewhere previously myself perhaps in an earlier firmware version of the HG630b

I think you need the Filtering Option though you may want to check out Netflix again to ensure there is no other option

All sorted, found ano old post here which fixed it without parent control settings
