OK so flame me down if I am wrong but here is my short story to date.

Wife rings as says she got a letter to say we can now connect to fibre (1 month a go) , I said great go online and order the 100/20 package. I get home and she says there is no 100/20 only 30/10.

Turns out she did not see the arrow to show the other plans, no problem I thought I will give them a quick ring and get it changed before our connection date (a month away at the time).

So 3 weeks on I have been ringing and being put on hold (4 hours of music, at work) until I just gave up. Finally somebody rang me back today and said sorry it cannot be done and when i get connected (next Wednesday) to ring back and get the order changed up ( I should get a free upgrade)

Not sure why it is not possible to change the plan to 100/20 now before the connection. Am i missing something here ???

yep, because it will probably cancel your order and you will have to start all over again

better to wait till you have it then change

And they are right about the change up anyway - I think Spark are upgrading people on the 30/10 to the 100/20 anyway.

You can't change an in flight order without cancelling it and starting it over. It's a limitation of the Chorus system.

I can understand how your wife missed it. To see anything else, you have to scroll to the right.....but it isn't obvious you're able to scroll to the right. I missed it myself a couple of times.....but worked it out before I had actually placed an order.
