So reading around here it sounds like BigPipe doesn't do VLAN tagging, so wouldn't that mean that any off the shelf router with PPPoE support should work just fine no?

 

 

 

or am I missing something here?

Any router that's fast enough. Don't use an old router and wonder why you can't get 200/200. Archer C2 is probably the cheapest one that works.

Hmm, ok, was thinking to find something in the range of $100-$150 with AdvancedTomato or at the very least DD-WRT support, it should be allot easier to find something nice without having to look for VLAN tagging support, which tends to bring the price way up.

 

Also I'll only be getting the 100/20 plan, so speed shouldn't be a major issue.

OK cool. Be mindful that some alternative firmwares would cause the router to run slowly and not hit 100Mbps, do your research before you buy.
